Don’t we all miss our dogs terribly when they are gone, such wonderful companions…

I never had a dog as a puppy, so I never bonded with them like I did Rosie, of course I missed them.

But this girl made a big impact in my heart, it’s the worst grief I have ever encountered…as one gets older I think it affects us more, well it has me, I can’t go through that heartache again…,I now can relate to my father when he lost his yorkie, he was heartbroken…never had another dog after that…

I know in my heart I will never have another dog when Jack goes…:heartpulse:

Hi Pauline 3 that sounds worrying, you could have a second opinion but they might charge you for seeing another vet, all the best and hope that he’ll be better soon.

Sometimes they don’t take growths from the eyes but if it’s growing inward it might rub on the eye. :slightly_smiling_face:

Barley and Berry waiting for their chips in the oven. They’re not hot I just keep them in there.

Rosemary had to nip out for her flu jab, but this happens every time one or the other of us has to go out for some reason, what it is to be loved… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The leaving home lament.

Just played that and it set Alf off, he growls at dogs on the tv and Lions, and Elephants, like they care.

A typical kitchen scene in our house, today’s “is there anything for us mum” :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Not the clearest of photos unfortunately, think I was too close.
My Gertie tonight, lying upside down for me while I snipped some knots out of her belly fur.

She’s just nodding off now! :grinning:

What a good girl Gertie is, Mups :grinning:

Thankyou Mags, and yes, she is most of the time, except she is a professional meddler and always poking her nose in and knicking things she shouldn’t! :grinning:

She is a very affectionate little girl though, and adores human contact, so as soon as you start brushing her, it soothes her and she nods off.
She was laying along between my knees in that picture with an old cushion to support her head while I checked her tummy, bless her. :grinning:

She is adorable, would love to be able to reach into the computer and give her a gentle tummy rub.

What a little sweetie.

Your dear wee Gertie looks like a similar model to my Jake.
