Do you have any trouble putting the coat on?
None of our dogs want to wear them.

It’s not a coat, Psmith, but a rain cover.

Yes but you’v still got to fix it on.
Obviously no problem then. That’s good

No, it’s different. It doesn’t have to be fixed on. She can take cover it if it’s raining.

Right, thanks.Ours doesn’t mind the rain so we don’t need one for that

Holly never minds her coat going on. It’s the harness loop over her head that she tries to fight.

I have a cool coat for mungo haven’t needed it much this summer .

We have coats for our two but reserve them for really cold or really wet walks, they don’t like them whatever the conditions but we like to think it helps them stay a couple of degrees warmer…

Sorry, last night I just wanted to test something and then got too tired.
Please meet my companion Zarina of Quail’s Nest, for short, Sari. She’s ten yrs. old and, as my nick indicates, a miniature dachshund. She’s just recovered from an operation on her teats and is as agile as ever again.
Was gonna ask you: Ever seen a dog in this position? What do you think she’s doing? (See post 103)

That’s what she’s doing:

The rain cover is mainly meant to prevent her from jumping out although she’s fixed.
Or in this position without rain cover I call her “Major Tom” being in full control.

Can also be lazy, of course:

I’m not sure what she’s doing, in the first two pictures,Dachs, but look at that gorgeous face in the third pic, how pretty is she!!..:heartpulse::sparkling_heart::heart_eyes:

She’s sitting on my bicycle in front of me. I took the pics while cycling. She likes it so much and hardly wants to get out of her basket now but was very scared the first time when she jumped out right at a crossing with heavy traffic. :flushed: She was fixed, though, and was dangling like a parachuter.
Thanks, Pauline.

Yes, when my Rosie was alive, I had a wicker basket on my bicycle, she would sit in it when I went over the ranges, Jack would run free, she could never keep up with him plus she was so tiny and got quite exhausted…it was great fun.
