Girlze might be a Senior Cat now, but did she run fast this morning to get inside again…omg…what with Mr Jack Frost chasing her tail
That will be her place now for many and hour…

The black and white one is Peanut
Both much bigger now… especially Peanut who eats twice as much as Pumpkin.
Lovely cats, JBR.
Two lovely cats, JB……
Yes, they are both lovely cats, but for sisters they are completely different. Thank you both.
This is an image that brings me great happiness as it is Buttons in his own home sitting at a window, he was also there yesterday but I did not have my camera to hand.
I am hoping this means that his owners are bringing him in at night rather than him being out all night particularly during the winter months.
I hope you are right about Buttons! I currently have one who lives down the lane that comes in through my cat flap & spends more time here than at his own home… apparently his owner is never home!
I leave food and shelter in my back hall, to any cat that is out in the cold, & they eat all the food but never make a mess.
Unfortunately my Gorgeous George isn’t well right now and he has been overnight with the vets…he has cystitis which is very painful and he is passing blood…he has been on fluids all night and today they are taking a urine sample direct from his bladder…hopefully that will indicate what the problem is.
George is almost 15 years old so I’m hoping I am doing the right thing allowing them to do this but he is in pain so I have to do something…its very worrying. The vets are ringing me later with results
My Nemo had a bad bout of cystitis a couple of years back - Vet recommended Cystaid:-
Cleared it up nicely in no time!
I’m hoping my vet isn’t over treating George its such a worry she hasn’t suggested medication he has had blood tests and now this procedure to get a urine sample as he won’t oblige by going in the tray they provide…poor George
Unfortunately my hope that Buttons owners might have developed a more responsible attitude was short lived as I bought him in just after 3am this morning from the peeing rain.
Second picture is just because he looked so handsome.
He is a beautiful cat, Mr Fraggle, and obviously feels happy with you.
Summer I do feel for you, when we made the move here we had no idea it would be Saber that got more stressed and being a big bravado Cat, he never showed that trait.
Suddenly the litter tray was bloodied and panicked, phoned the Vet and soon he was given urine tests and then medication. He got better within days Summer and telling you this just so it gives you some optimism.
@SilverTabby
He is though he can be a bit grumpy and will bite.
When I first met him he was untouchable in fact one of my idiot neighbours complained when Buttons let her be know that he did not want to be touched and I had someone turn up from the SSPSA though he could not offer an explanation as to what he was there for.
He is so much better now and can be really affectionate and chatty.
Thanks for your comments Dianne…George is so.much better the antibiotics seem to have worked so fingers crossed for him
Good to hear that George is feeling better Summer!
The RSPCA man, who helped with Mr Grey, told me that having them neutered can cause minor problems like Cystitis & it is often caused if they eat too much.
He said that the problem, if you don’t have them neutered, is that they are more likely to sustain nasty injuries from fighting with other tom cats, or even going too far from home in search of female cats & getting lost… so being neutered is the best option.
Mr Grey is now staying in at night & eating less now he has found that sitting on the sofa with me is cosy & warm!
I’m so glad for Mr Grey he really landed on his feet finding you Twinks. George is definitely a lot better he is even back out on little hunting trips in the garden not that he catches much…thankfully
