As I said this is not the first time and he was none the worse for wear.
Buttons sounds a right character!
Haha. Buttons. Such a cute photo. Buttons obviously came along to supervise but got hungry
Is the fish a cat toy?
Itâs so cute.
It is but he was not impressed with it so I removed the motor and it is just another inert toy I spray with catnip.
@MrFraggle67
My two are like weazels with headaches this morning - shall I put them in a box and post them to you?
All are welcome in my flat so yes please, good chance you wonât get them back mind.
Hahaha. So now itâs a âmodifiedâ cat toy then.
Love it.
My two love their âflapping fishâ toys. Nemo even brings his to me when it needs recharging!
Aww thats sweet. I just imagine his wee pleading face âfix this for me?â
No wait, thatâs dogs isnât it. Dogs plead, cats demand
Very true!
Wandered through to the kitchen to find Buttons dead to the world. Did not hear him come in either. For a big cat he can pass through the cat flap like a ghost.
Edit:
This may not be my house but I still rule.
Cats always know where they are welcome!
Do his actual owners know your place is his second home? (Or thirdâŠfourthâŠ)
Yes and no, it used to be that he was rather taken with my own cat Millie and would follow her in to the block of flats and just sit there. The thing was he was untouchable and would bite and scratch if you went to close so decided to see if I could do something about his behaviour but first I wanted to see if I could find out who he belonged to. It turned out that he just lives in the next block.
He must have watched Millie use the cat flap and copied her which put me in a bit of a quandry so I got in touch with his owner who came and got him and said that I should just shoo him away in future but I said that I felt that I could not really do that, it as winter at the time, and he had issues that needed addressing I also told her that sometimes he came in at night and I had no intention of getting out of my bed to chase a cat out into the rain or snow.
It has taken a few months but he is touchable now and a lovely cat but can still have his moments.
I fell out with her owner as I caught her husband pushing a young cat they also had out of the window. Then one day it went missing and although people in a local FB group told her of various sightings she always found reasons why it was not her cat.
Iâm just reading this now, and I agree with you. They donât deserve to have any animals by the sounds of it. I am so glad Buttons is with you @MrFraggle67 , he looks happyâŠuntouchable, but happy!
Oh he is very touchable now and not just with me though I do tend to warn others that he can give a little nip if the fancy takes him.
