Tattoos - do you have any?

My sister actually had a tattoo done of a rose on her hip.
See was saying the other day that it’s become a long stemmed rose :069:

See, there is a bright side to tattoos after all

Great Jazzi

Exactly, I didn’t get my first one until I was older as back when I was a teen the only thing girls had was a black rose, and I didn’t want one of them. I went to a very good guy in Perth who always has a long waiting list and he was not cheap. He did a great job and I love what he did.
As for those getting drunk and going for a cheap one, I’ve no sympathy for them at all. You get what you pay for.

:062:

Perhaps she’s masking a vampire bite

I totally agree with you Roxy

That’s so sad :frowning:

Thanks LQ this thread is meant for you to state your viewpoint:-)

No tattoos for me, either. It is a matter of personal preference, of course.
I don’t feel a need to print something on my skin for the rest of the world to see, read, and wonder about. I would rather others focused on my words and deeds, and the more natural parts of me.

I don’t assess others’ tats, read them, or try to figure out what the squiggles are…their own is their own.

Hi

A tattoo can be a great thing, to be shared amongst lovers in private.

My swan is personal and the hummingbird is because I love the wee souls. As I said I have no problem covering them up, and in the winter they are covered by my sweater anyway. Only time I have them on show is as the swimming pool.

Once the new’ness has worn off though Swim you will need to find a new lover…

I suppose they come in handy to identify a dead body…:102: What?..

I wish people would be as tolerant about the people who refuse to have the vaccine Lion Queen…

You are stereotyping and who cares what Peter, Paul or Mary think! It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks.
Many think long hair on men looks trashy. Then again, many think long hair on woman looks trashy.
Isn’t that stereotyping?

I’ve seen some very classy tattoos that are anything but trashy so I respectfully disagree with your opinion.

I was watching some muslims celebrate ‘Eid Mubarak’ (I think it was) on the lunchtime news. They were praying together and then socialising and eating together, and I was envious of their community spirit. That used to be us once upon a time, and now we keep ourselves to ourselves and rarely interact with our neighbours…:frowning:

Hi

Yep. I was never allowed to have one, not even for my blood group.

A stupid idea, just marked you out.

And that’s fine! HOWEVER I stand by my view. As for stereotypes, behind most stereotypes are elements of at least SOME truths.

I wasn’t allowed to have one either Swim, my dad would have killed me!..

But having or not having a tattoo doesn’t affect anyone else’s well being, Foxy. A lot of people think not having the jab does. :102:
