nooo it’s the opposite with a latteo milk frother. skim milk is better for bubbles
I bought a 4 pack of Cadbury Dairy Milk bars two weeks ago. I have eaten I piece from one bar, and haven’t been even slightly tempted to eat another. On the pack it says, “Made under licence from Cadbury UK Ltd.”. I don’t know what exactly that means, or if it is significant, but I would have expected it to simply say, made by Cadbury, if it was made by Cadbury.
yes that was a tragedy.
You’ll be pleased to know that all Cadbury’s products are Halal. If they use gelatin it is derived from beef.
Good news eh?
thanks Bruce, I will sleep better tonight
Professional baristas in Italy only use full fat milk (unless specifically asked not to by the customer) simply because the fat holds the bubbles in the foam together for much, much longer (longer lasting foam head) than they would if semi- or skimmed-milk were to be used. I based my answer above (post 65) on my 14 years experience of visiting many coffee bars when we lived near Rome. (Likewise with cocoa powder, in Italy you have to ask for it to be sprinkled on in most bars.)
I don’t see how they can make you ask for it, especially if you don’t want it.
If you want it sprinkled on, you have to ask for it to be sprinkled on. Sorry I didn’t make that clear enough for you.
You did make it clear enough, actually, I was just being me.
Living in Rome must have been fabulous. The coffee preparation in Italy is probably the best in the world. It’s an art form for them.
It was for the first year or two then it was just like living in England but with better weather.
Then why on earth did you leave? Just curious.
We have the chocolates that’s called celebrations heroes and roses. They’re small chocolate so we have one every day. If I eat more than that I know that I will put on weight.
Thats disipline for you, good on you…we are lucky, I can discipline myself too where chocolate is concerned./…well, most times anyway lol
Aged parents for one thing, bureaucratic madness another, more interesting job offer a third.
I worked with a woman once and she used to eat three Mars Bars, one after the other. I couldn’t eat one at once, only about half as they are too sweet.
Yuk!
Very very occasionally maybe once in a year or too I will sucomb to a mars bar . Usually when I’m out shopping feel weak and need a sugar hit . ( going to B and Q with Mr M is one such occasion as he ponders over nails and fixings)
As soon as I have eaten it I wish I hadn’t .
Very rarely eat sweets or chocolate, unless the chocolate is on a biscuit or mini roll.
Mars bars are nice to take on my long walks.
There is a little known secret that Mars sells a very high-quality line of hand-dipped chocolates and truffles called Ethel M, named after Mars’s wife. They are heavenly: https://www.ethelm.com

Not really about chocs or lollies but I used to work with a bloke who would order, every day, for his morning tea, two hamburgers with the lot and, to bring a sense of moderation to the event, accompanied it with a diet coke.
Harbal, that video is one of my favorites, As cute and expressive as this little guy is, I like the parents most of all because they are clearly rearing him exceptionally well.
If someone took my Ethel M dark chocolate lemon creams, I don’t think I would be as forgiving, and that’s got nothing to do with my parents
