When I tried one all I could taste was Green
I do not like Green, Green is my least favourite colour.
Why would I enjoy eating it?
That suprises me.As you are a lover of nature I would have thought green would be popular.
We had some last week, they were OK
How can you not enjoy eating them? ![]()
I have never eaten anything green except peas but then I rarely eat any veggies anyway. I do eat a lot of rice.
this is surely the best thing ever
Sounds good Annie, we make something similar using ricotta cheese. Spinach are so versatile and great for preparing pies and pasta fillings.
Perhaps that was down to quality Bret?
How it was prepared/cooked and who was responsible.
Often the way when eating out.
Having said that I couldn’t even consider cauliflower! ![]()
Sounds delicious, especially as most ricotta and some fetas are veggie friendly.
It was a spinach and ricotta roll. Thawed frozen spinach is used.
Usually initially blanched in hot water, squeezed, then formed into compressed blocks and frozen.
Ye gods!
No wonder you didn’t like it! ![]()
I sense that it is the spinach you object to more than the ricotta or the pastry. Which is foolish as spinach is incredibly good for you. One of my fav easy meals is fresh spinach, wilted in butter, in a shallot cream sauce to cover pasta. Strong green flavour covered in salty grated cheese. Eat more spinach.
I do not like the taste of Green. Iceberg Lettuce, Silver beet, all taste strongly of Green. ![]()
Stick to white, orange and red veg then. Begs the question - why did you buy the pasty in the first place?
First time I tried one. At least 35 years ago. ![]()
I don’t enjoy eating Brussel sprouts, nasty lil suckers.
All other greens delicious even Kale, often I eat spinach and cabbage raw ,especially sweetheart cabbage it’s my favourite.
Marsh samphire…

Gorgeous, we used to forage for it on The Isle of Wight.
Salty and succulent, delicious nibbled raw, after a good rinse of course?
I was intrigued by a US dish called wedges with blue cheese dressing. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t taste so green as it doesn’t sound so healthy

The blue cheese makes this rather disgusting. Eating cheese purposely infused with mold. C’mon!
isn’t cheese just mouldy milk?
