Not really. It is spoiled milk. The milk solids are removed - coagulated.

It really comes down to the seasoning. If there isn’t enough salt, nutmeg, or garlic, it just tastes like damp leaves.

When they’re done right, the cheese makes it creamy, but I get why “tasting green” would be a dealbreaker if you’re not a fan of the color to begin with.
