Not really. It is spoiled milk. The milk solids are removed - coagulated.

It really comes down to the seasoning. If there isnât enough salt, nutmeg, or garlic, it just tastes like damp leaves.
When theyâre done right, the cheese makes it creamy, but I get why âtasting greenâ would be a dealbreaker if youâre not a fan of the color to begin with.
