Strictly Come Dancing 2013 line-up

I just love the whole programme, couldn’t care who is good or bad, just seeing those celebs trying so hard out of their normal thingy … loved Deb the Dragon … may not go the distance but didn’t she give a good show?

Tis true, just great entertainment …

Great show again as usual.

Dave was the one who I remember the most!! He looked to thoroughly enjoy himself, even though he got bottom marks. I’m sure he was making most of it up!!

I thought he was hilarious  he may surprise us all

I got the impression that he was playing it for laughs, it just looked so funny.

There was one who did surprise me - the professional dancer dancing with Mark, she looks so severe but he said she has a lovely sense of humour and given the storyline and her jingling the necklace at the end, she does! That was a nice surprise

Must be so nerve racking for the professionals as well as the celebs, thats what adds to the show of course …

I’m enjoying Strictly too. I was looking forward to the new series starting.
Maybe I’m getting old, but I’m getting a bit fed up with X-Factor though, it seems only geared up for kids. Later on, when we get Britains Got Talent back again, at least you get mixed age groups more, and the really hopeless ones give us a laugh.

The best thing is to record it and then fast-forward the annoying bits :-D:-D

I stopped watching it when Rhydian didn’t win - and I don’t even like classical music! When he sang ‘You Raise Me Up’ it actually made me cry  they have some very good singers that just don’t seem to get anywhere so I ended up thinking it is fixed for the next boy/girl band type rather than someone who can genuinely sing.

Yep - we do that with some shows …

Agree with you Kal - real good acts get sidelined …
Also its too much about the judges and their antics …
Stopped watching around 3 years back …

Not Strictly topic, but I stopped watching X factor too, the clips we were forced to watch was excrutiating enough :frowning: prefer Britians got talent more variety.

Anyone going to be watching Take Two at 6,30? with Zoe Ball

Used to be an avid viewer, then it seemed to become lacklustre for me - is Zoe Ball doing well with it …?

I watched a couple of episodes but wasn’t really taken with it but I tend not to enjoy the spin-off shows as much with most of them.

I agree.

(I’m going to record it from this week and just watch the dancing.)

Personally I find her better at presenting the show than Claudia Winkleman

Thanks Val - will give it a go …

Yes I always watch Take 2 - Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are great - perhaps good replacements for Bruce and Tess (although Anton is still my favourite)

Strictly just what we need for these winter nights.
I stopped watching x factor years ago. More for the youngsters, my 7 and 9 yr old granddaughter like it.
I like Bruce, but he needs to give it up now, keeps fluffing his lines. Tess not to keen on her.
My memorable moment Mark Benton, loved his dance. Dave funny.
Vanessa and Tony probably first to go.
