Some photos with my Panasonic G9 camera

Just been messing about (yes yet again) with this new Panasonic G9 camera.
this time in fairly windy conditions My Nikon cameras could not do.
So using a very high shutter speed, actually unbeliveably high on some roses

exif data
Aperture F8
shutter speed1/32000sec
focal length12mm
ISO 1600
brightness adjusted in Adobe Element

if one doesn’t try different things then what is the point of having a camera? obviously this is just a test photo

Nice photo yu did well. If Ii may suggest a couple of things which you already know i suspect but others may not
lighting from underneath can prove interesting

or something like this

or from the side at night

or adding that something extra to a flower head

or an undeneath shot

just adding that little something yo make it interesting

When I am asked about making this kind of flower photo I ask what they see. Most may mention the type of flower and its colour and thats it. This is because they only see and not look
For me it is where the flower is- how the light affects it- can i add anything such as a drops of water to he petals- how high it is- which is the best angle to get a shot- let alone the above

Another  Also from rgge garden.

focus is always a problem with flowers, either they are blowing in the wind or one part is not as sharp as the rest.
i have heard of some photographers putting a small clamp on the stem to keep them still. look up plamp.

I do like flowers but I try some other images. Like a 2 cm spider:

Spider again…I tried.
