Wayne Rooney banned after admitting drink-driving
Former England captain Wayne Rooney has appeared in court and admitted drink-driving.
The 31-year-old was banned from driving for two years and ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order.
Rooney was also ordered to pay Ā£170 when he appeared at Stockport Magistratesā Court.
Rooneyās lawyer, Mike Rainford, told the court it was likely that Everton would fine the player two weeksā wages, which the BBC understands to be about Ā£300,000.
Not a lot of money, in either case, but heāll no doubt still be getting a lot of earache from Coleen after sheās likely to lose Ā£300,000 because of the woman sheās labelled a āfame-seeking slapperā.

A driving ban and a 100 hours would be devastating for some.
He can afford a driver and his new Insurance Premiums without breaking a sweat.
