the idea was/is to get everything working at the same time. That is the 2 flashguns and 2 cameras. Almost there just ordered another shutter trigger receiver for the second camera. Everything being fired from one transmitter
first bit that neaded head scratching was the Nikon SB900 flashgun which is not compatable with the Panasaonic cameras. Solution is to get a GODOX panasonic flash transmitter and a receiver dedicated to Nikon. luckily the transmiter is more or less universal so will go with any make of camera but the receiver has to be as per flash gun make.
Next stage to get a camera shutter trigger and receiver to work the camera. I had one of each but ordered another used trigger and receiver (£10) although all i want is the receiver.
next is to get everytrhing working together = 2 cameras taking a photo from differnt angles at the same time as well as both flashguns remotely.
Sounds easy enough until setting up everything in the same group and the same channel. Then if the flash guns are going to work as slaves or masters .
have tested as far as i can at the moment without the other trigger receiver it all look as if it is going to work.
So not only just being able to do stills but also videos . My thoughts at the moment is videoing birds and the concrete drinking bowl in the garden . type of thing. or for functions???
going one step further, which is doubtful, but shooting still/videos with this setup and well as videoing with the camcorder. At least a bit of fun setting it all up and recording with the camcorder watching the cameras come alive. Mad obviously but what the heck
