As it should be ST.
The media cover is awful, even afternoon radio 4 has been full of banal meanderings from journalists and âthose in the knowâ as if the queen is already deceased, I find it rather ghoulish.
I just canât get my head round how serious it seems. If she had fallen, or suffered a bad dose of gout or something, they wouldnât be arriving from all four corners, and they canât be doing this off and on for the foreseeable future either, if it was just a âfunny turnâ I think she may have suffered a heart related issue or a stroke. But yes, it is rather ghoulishâŠlike vultures circling. I believe that BBC at least have postponed everything up until 6pm so maybe they donât have anything else to talk about.
I suspect sheâs had a massive stroke and is in medical hands not going to hospital suggests to me at least sheâs stipulated to be allowed to pass at Balmoral.
In all honesty, I thought she had quite possibly already passed away but that they were gathering the family together for entirely understandable personal reasons prior to announcing it.
The alternative is that it could last for days yet while we wait, knowing that as soon as they decide to show something else then thatâs precisely when itâll happen. Or, she revives and weâve cried wolf.
That would be kinder and more fitting for her in my opinion. To be allowed to pass at home which she loved all her life.
Oh heavens, for someone who is a bit blasĂ© about the Royals, Iâm getting a bit of a lump in my throat here!
Once she is gone imo its time to put them to bed, sheâs irreplaceable and Charlie ainât the one, adulterer that he was.
So did I Dex and we are not 'grown up enough â to be told the truth it has to be drip fed to us.
You donât call the family and the âtrusted servantsâ unless there is a real problem .
No mention of Anne, is she there ?
I think I saw her mentioned ⊠.the only one who is missing is Kate and thatâs because of the little ones.
Some immediate family were already there before this news broke, so I think she may be there already. Her and the Queen are very close.
Yes - she was already at Balmoral - Royal Duties and all that. I respect her a lot as well - She is not a whinging attention seeker but just gets on with the job!
It all seems to have happened very suddenly. HM looked OK the other day when she appointed her new Prime Minister!
Thereâs speculation (isnât there always) that some perceived bruising might have been due to a cannula that had been removed for the purposes of doing the job with BJ and Truss with associated camera shots. If so, sheâs presumably back on some intravenous drugs which she was taken off for a bit on Tuesday.
I am just feeling so sad.
God bless the QueenâŠ
Sheâs passed, god save the king.
The queen has passed away (breakin news just now)
