Premium Bonds - have you won anything?

Thank you, all three.

£25 for me. Better than nothing,

And me

Twenty Five quid for me also this month, just in time for my birthday later in the month…

Which pub are we all meeting in then OGF? Although £25 will not go far, how much is a pint – £2, £3 or even £5! I have absolutely no idea, I’ve not had ‘a drink’ for over 50 years now (teetotal)! Getting a little thirsty now though.

£50 this month thats £225 this year, still waiting for the big one

Just the £25 this month.

Prizes way down this year compared to the past 4/5 years

Well done all.

3*£25 for me and the same for V making 150 squid in all - that’s my hedge trimmer and V’s box of chocks paid for

Same as you Baz, I haven’t a clue how much beer is for a pint…:102: It’s been years since I visited a pub just for a drink. I went to the local carvery (which is a pub) a few times but covid has knocked even that on the head…:frowning:

I’d be up for a nice pot of tea and a toasted teacake in a cafe though, I’ll pay…

Congratulations to all who got something this month, including me, even if it was only £25.

Oh right, cheers OGF I will be there! Google maps, where are you? :024:

From the Premium Bonds web Page:-

See below.

If the payout is 1% where does the 99% go?

If the odds on winning is 34, 500 , for every £1 bond how is your investment holding up? (if you have 35000 invested, shouldn’t you expect to be winning almost every time?)

“Essentials at a glance
What are the odds of winning? 34,500 to 1 (for every £1 Bond)
What’s the interest rate? 1.00% (annual prize fund rate)
Will you pay tax? No. All prizes are tax-free.
What’s the min. to pay in? £25
What’s the max. to pay in? £50,000”

Yippee! :026: :mini: :026: :mini: That very kind man, Ernie, has awarded me and V 4*£25 each this month.

Nice one I got £25 again this month

:+1: Good stuff.

Nothing this month :slightly_smiling_face:

Never mind Mags. Have a :hugs: instead.
