That was exactly my experience as I illustrated in a previous post

My ( slightly more than)£20,000 of pb’s yielded £300 in prize money in 2018.

I have some cash in an isa which I am using to renovate a property. Once the renovation is finished early nexy year I will transfer the remainder in to pb’s!!

A lovely start to the year …

2 x £25

SNAP

Me as well:-D:-D

£25 to start the New Year off
Better that a black eye I supose .

ME TOO! I got 2x£25!

WOW…I wonder if they’re spending a little to entice more investment…

1 x £25 for me…Always exciting to get that email on your phone !!

Happy New Year !

Foxy’s 25 quid better off this month courtesy of NS&I…

£75 this month. Best yet.

That’s brilliant Julie…Well done…

Just started with these again.

Last time I won around 5 or 6 £25

Good luck Lolly, fingers crossed…

Thanks

February

2 x £25

Ok am back but maybe not for long.

Removed 20K from my ISA which gave me a return of £150 for the year at an interest rate of .75 meaning I got an extra £150 on my holding of £20k

With it bought a 20k t Bond to add to my holding of £20k which gives me an intertrest rate of1.45%

Last month won £50

This month won a £100.

To get the Interest paid on PBs will still have to win £625 to break even

This will also negate the holdings I owned before I bought the other £20k.

Well done Galty!

I have managed stock market ISA 's which I have to say I get a much better return on but of course its riskier. I bought a few premium bonds last January 2018 only 5k and I haven’t had any return so far…I probably didn’t buy enough.

£75 this month ( 3x25)

1 x £25 for february so that’s £50 so far in 2019…all goes back in to more bonds!

Yes it will be interesting to see how you get on.

Ive got £20k ( slightly over that ) and earned £300 on pbs in 2018…That is DOUBLE the amount I would have got on a cash isa.

£50 so far in 2019 means I’m on track to match 2018.

I will be putting a bit more in when I finish a property renovation I’m doing which I will then holiday let in the Scottish Borders ( nearly finished). I set a budget for the renovation but should come in about 5k under so will put that in I should think…
As I earn money on my holiday let I will increase my holding to the max…PB’s are fun!
