Premium Bonds - have you won anything?

So far nothing…nada…zilch.

Ha! Nothing new there then :frowning:

1 x £25

£25 last month

Only one new email received this morning…but as it’s from NS&I AND its 7 days into the month…

great excitement…

great hopes…

would love £££ and loads of 000’s…

3 x £25! Very nice thanks, but £££ and 000’s would have come in SO handy!

Why are other’s getting their notifications so early in the month and I have to wait a week?

Lindy  I always use the Premium Bond Checker to see if I have won anything. The big winning bonds are listed on the first working day of the month and by the second day it will show you if you have won anything.

Same here Lindy, I never check I just wait for the email, but it’s usually three or four days later…

And as it happens…Foxy just won £25 making it £250 for the year…:038:
Sausage rolls and tea on me…

£50 this month when checked. so far £175 this yeas, better and a savings account

But likely much worse than investing that money yourself somewhere proper

Nothing for me this month but It’s been a good year.

Hopefully December will round it off with a wee bonus!

Already earned more on Ernie in 2018 than I would have in an ISA or a savings account, so not too shabby!

Yes, same here Moscow, good luck for December…:023:

£25 for December

Nothing this month

But hats off to the lady in Kent that bought 1K worth in July of this year and scooped a million

Lucky lady

2 x £25

I haven’t checked but im not lucky on these thing’s so I doubt I will have won anything …again

I’m so disappointed for you Summer, I’ll organise a whip round for you on the forum…I’ve heard Longdogs is good for a Monkey…

£25 so that’s nice for Christmas

Rounded off the year with 2 x £25 which is nice after 2 months without a win

Jan-Dec I’ve won £300 which has been reinvested in to more premium bonds

Btw, that works out at 1.46%…so not an amazing return but that’s 1.46% with the ever present chance to win one of the big prizes!!

That’s what makes it exciting!

I’m looking at it as no less than I’d get in a bank savings account so all the while that’s true we will carry on.

That wouldn’t be selective maths would it by any chance?

How did those bonds to the previous 5 years?

Not quite sure what you are getting at.

Those figures are for the 12 months of 2018.

I would guess ( I’m really not going to trawl through my records for the definitive figures) that is about par for the course over the past few years.

If I were to have my money in an instant access cash ISA I would guess the returns would have been less…I don’t really care because I like having Premium Bonds!
