No its not, I am waiting on my Chinese Connection. :articulated_lorry:

Never realized how constructing a bike could involve so much faith, the resolve has been pushed to the Max, but, all will be good in the end. :bike:

its a good hobby keep fooin it!

Ok, the Mondeo went for MOT yesterday, about 3 months ago the engine management light came on and, I noticed the car was using about a litre of oil every one thousand miles. Well, the car failed on brake pads and rear suspension bushes but, more importantly it failed because of the oil issue, apparently the missing oil was finding its way past the valve stem oil seals or similar and, contaminating the emissions so, only an engine rebuild would cure it, and that was not financially viable.
Ok the numbers, I paid Ā£850.00 for the car on the 7th March when it was showing 129114 miles,
yesterday it was showing 135916 miles so, I covered 6802 miles in 248 days. The car was scrapped today for which I was paid Ā£364.00, there were no Maintenance costs so the car effectively cost Ā£486.00, divided by 248 days = Ā£1.95 per day, not bad.
Iā€™m off to collect itā€™s successor tomorrow, Ā£995.00 top of the range, 1 previous owner, looking to get 10000 miles out of this one.

Spitty off-topic. Did you finish tinkering with your BMW?

No, without going into great mechanical detail, I did 80% of the brake system recommission but called a mobile mechanic to finish it off, predictably he did not show. Then I got the Van nicked so, lost momentum so, itā€™s a question of refocusing and aiming for a February respray, then back on the road for the summer.
Got the new van a couple of weeks ago, used it for the first time yesterday to take the daughter to work.

Went on the Saracen Yesterday, to a place last visited on the Sur ron, donā€™t miss the Sur ron much, it is a youngsterā€™s bike, the Saracen handled the terrain to the old stables just as well.

Did turn the pedals a couple of times

Looks like the Super Stealth Bomber wheel is on the move to the local distribution hub, finally some update after 32 days.

Well, itā€™s finally arrived.

This is what is required to propel a Stealth Bomber up to 75-80mph

The rear tyre is being fitted tomorrow, the front wheel is 21" diameter, and the rear is 19" but the rear tyre is more expensive.

Let us know how she rides Spitty!

The last hurdle is the Battery Minx, supplied from the same Chinese source, it costs Ā£1250.00 plus Ā£250.00 for shipping by Air, but, at least it should arrive quickly, the battery should last longer than I have got so, shouldnā€™t need another one. :bike:

I hope your package arrives soon Spitty

Had the tyre fitted, two things are now apparent, the tread pattern on the front tyre is pointing the wrong way so will have to be refitted and, this large motor has no facility to fit a bicycle freewheel so there is no point in fitting pretend pedals to make the thing look sort of legal so, it will have to be legalized from the off,

Still some work to be done. But itā€™s looking good :+1:t3:

This is the last one Minx, no more.
