Wet-ush…
I like that Besoeker!
Green, lush and refreshing, hits the spot on a day like today
Thank you Mr Chill.
Of course it is winter, I was out watering the potted plants but I thought I would add some winter colour to the thread…
No idea what this is other than it is (I think) related to Aloe Vera
One of my Grevilleas - flowers all year round. A great survivor - I thought it was dead a couple of years ago.
Another Grevillea. Honey eaters and small parrots love its nectar.
This is called something like a Birdsnest Plant.
Nasturtiums survive total neglect. I just like them in a sandwich with some cheese or even a burger.
I’m glad it’s not just me Bruce! The leaves have a kind of slight peppery flavour, interesting. They go well with the more robust types of bread in my opinion!
Yes, love the peppery taste, so much nicer than lettuce.
very nice, love the colours really makes the photo
Camera Panasonic G9ii — lens 100-300mm. no editing just resize to be able to post on here
just trying out a normal photo hand held with the above @ 100mm
same shot cropped (in camera) @ 300mm -hand held
what modern cameras can now do never ceases to amaze me. The dual image stablisation is fantastic .
That’s the last time I eat Nasturtiums…Yuk!
Mind you, I once found a caterpillar on my lettuce at a well known eating establishment…
That’s protein that is.
Perhaps Bear Grylls might find them tasty Bruce, but I’ll have to pass on the bush tucker…
Ahem!..there is a saucy thread running on the forum y’know!
Thanks Chilli, I’ll have a mosy over there…
