Western grey Alpha Male Kangaroo

A Burr on a Marri Tree Trunk.
The growth is a mass of shoot and bud tissue that grows manically and forms a distinctive growth on the trunk.
At its most basic, it’s not unlike a benign tumour in an animal

You might find this interesting, driving long distances on very straight roads can lead to fatigue.

Queensland has these Fatigue Trivia quiz road signs to keep you awake… Taken from my dash cam so not very clear but you’ll get the idea.

Question: Bird named after Major Mitchell (he was an early surveyor/explorer)

Hint: Known as Leadbeaters

Answer: Major Mitchell’s Cockatoo

One of my country roads and a picture taken from my back yard this morning.


Here’s also a photo of my lemon tree buds! :smiley:
This twenty-year old tree is going through a rebirth stage, it had practically withered because of an icy winter and was non-existent for many years, last year it produced five lemons for the first time ever! Keeping my fingers crossed!
