I once saw a Red Squirrel while I was jogging around Derwent Water in the lake district. It was very early in the morning and I was completely alone with my thoughts, he ran alongside me (but just out of reach) for quite sometime. Unfortunately no phones or camera in those days. I wouldn’t have taken a phone with me anyway. Sometimes I just like to be out of reach (just like the Squirrel) of the human race…
Thanks Besoeker,
Sorry for the late response.
I like your black squirrel photos.
They are very nice.
Thank you kindly, Chelsea ! I am retired now but I travelled quite a bit so I have had the opportunity take a few photographs. This one was piece of fossil wood from the Sarah Desert
The lead Maxi in a race off Mandurah.

this is fairly new to me how I took this photo. Did it with the use of extn tubes attached to the camera lens. This is the same as using Macro(close up) lens
Except being able to get the shot from further away . I was at least 3 ft way for this one
Camera Panasonic G9 with 100-300mm lens and 2 extrn tubes
Yes I could have editied it to sharpen- alter lighting etc but really wanted to show as taken apart from resizing to put on here
This little fellow is well camouflaged…
This is very cool!
Hi thanks Chelsea - is this the spider one ?
A worse for wear Pirate
Some brilliant captures here…
Way out of my league Gents…
'Tis the mating season. A photo from this afternoon’s walk…
Yes. It’s the spider one with the cobweb. It reminds me of a spider photo I took years ago. It was a big black spider with bright yellow stripes sitting in the middle of its cobweb . The cobweb had full morning dew on it and the morning sun was shining through it. It looked very similar to yours…
