We stepped outdoors yesterday evening for a chin wag with the neighbours and to see what we could make of the eclipse, my attention was drawn to this
I’m not quite sure how to define it, my astronomy is practically non existent. A kind of multiple shadow eclipse shadow pattern projected onto the wall. Thanks to Chilli jnr for taking the picture!

Whilst on our cruise around Iceland, we docked at Isafjordur, a small coastal town north-west Iceland. The weather was heavily clouded, threatening rain all day. It was decided the ship would leave early to try and find a gap in the clouds for the eclipse, using satellite cloud mapping. So we managed to find a spot right on the Artic circle and waited for it all to happen. During totality, the sun was behind a thin veil of cloud and I managed to get this unprocessed image.
