using 2 flashguns at night as a tryout with this new gear. Having the guns remote from the camera makes a lot of difference not having a direct flash fro the camera
just got to have a look around the garderin daylight to see what would be worth photographing at night
I guess this is part of your portfolio on the most photographed garden in Bexhill but where/how do you use this gear on your trips and holidays? Have you examples of that?
Occasionally I use my camera’s built in flash as a fill in flash as intimated by @d00d but generally speaking I haven’t used flash guns for decades.
Bruce
Quote " I haven’t used flash guns for decades" unquote . And you wonder why the kangaroos won’t pose for you any more? or maybe you wallaby doing something else
That may be so but you could tell and show us how you used the old equipment so we have an idea how you intend to use the new stuff.
It is not a trick question I am interested in what you do with your equipment and the results. You show us lots of your equipment but rarely the results of its use, which is surely why you buy it?
Bruce
The best way to find out how to use equipment is by owning it and experiment with it. Every photographer has their own ideas which is the best way under whatever situation they are photographing.
@realspeed Your top photo of the red rose, IMO leaves a lot to be desired.
Do you have portable floodlighting and an ‘umbrella’ diffuser? Your flash really doesn’t do it for me
