Peanut Butter - didn"t realise I liked it so much

Perhaps there’s a language ‘thing’ about "jelly" ?

Here, jelly is a dessert thing that one has with fruit or ice cream or perhaps in a ‘trifle’ etc.
Contains gelatin.
Wibble wobble like a jelly on a plate

Not something one would (or could) spread on bread.

Nasty sticky stuff…though it does have its uses…my ex loved the stuff so I’d get the jar out when something goid was on tv…it glued her mouth shut.:wink:

What about jelly donuts???

We call them jam donuts.
LOL

Jam, jelly, it’s all the same, LOL

Well, sort of. Jelly is more like gelatin and jam is more like preserves.

Get where you"re coming from Linda.
grin

I know where I’m coming from, just not sure where I’m going.

:lol:

:004:You are star .

:blush::slight_smile:

I don’t like it at all, yuk :088:

Peanut butter ice cream. Yummy.

Thanks Linda0818, Marmite Yech ! Cant stand the stuff though my wife Loves it. Thank-You for explaining Jelly and Peanut Butter and all the other versions. Jelly is Jam, call me an idiot but I never realised this. Kindest Regards Deckard 60fox

We’re not used to calling jam ‘jelly’ are we but thinking about it we call blackberry jam ‘bramble jelly’ when there’s no bits in it.

I normally get that. Not quite as nice as Sunpat IMO but all the ingredients are healthy.

I like the look of the Fluffernutter.

I shall have to try this, how thick do you apply it to the skin? :wink: Does one take the crunchy with the smooth?

Personally I like the crunchy variety however I usually spread jam on as well because that makes it even better. I wonder if jam is good for the skin too?

Let us know how you get on , and whether you skin becomes as smooth as a babies bottom.
:lol::lol:

It is. Sort of. Jelly is basically jam or “preserves” without the fruit bits and stuff in it, like Val said.

They’re heaven :stuck_out_tongue:

I buy ‘Skippy’ I think it’s made from Kangaroo Nuts and is loaded with preservatives, but when you get to our age you can’t have too many preservatives…:-D:-D:-D
