Panasonic have released a new firmware update for the G9ii camera. It now has even better image stablisation than before. Also now accepts new style microphone.
So I tried it out( both photos unedited)
Hand held @ 400mm ( 800 in FF terms)

yet another update for this camera. this time version 2.7 so downloaded it from the Panasonic download site.
had a problem with the download direct to memory card in camera., the computer did not find the link to the camera via the USB-c cable at first, took several goes but eventually worked. Seem to remember the same problem on the previous update
