Oh it isn’t really dying? Mind you Nimby I had a new one last year, in my run of dying white goods, and I couldn’t believe how quick and good the programmes now are…and less water used.
Filthy day here. It is SO cold.
Just found out Renault Master on it’s way back from Air Suspension Hospital. Nice of the RAC to tell me. LUcky I actually decided to have a day off from the hospital today.
I am blaming this on Nimby. After writing tht last post about white goods etc. my new (bought last August) Meile Cat and Dog C3 packed up. I have spent hours sorting it. The Germans are still cagey, 70 years after the war, of giving out any information about products they make…just in case. I have spent hours trying to sort. I’ve downloaded handbooks, you name it. Anyway I have decided, from reading people’s negative reviews, that I need a new filter. It will be available from Waitrose tomorrow night. I have to vacuum every day.
Sorry about that Celyn ;-)…I treated myself to a G Tech Ram…love it!..I now have 3 vacs…1 upstairs and 2 down…must do something about that :!:
Frosty start this morning…so much better than yesterday:-)
What on earth is a G Tech Ram!!! Sounds like something for a computer. I bought a new Dyson last year. Hated it so gave it to daughter. Bought the Miele…can’t buy another one. Have a Miele for upstairs too, especially for Michaels room.
It’s a cordless…google it
One of the others is a Dyson…had from my son when he moved to SA over 10 yrs ago and he had had it for some time
…still ok but suction not good now …
Three hair dgs, two cats the Dyson Cat and dog clogged up within minutes. I need to vacuum daily. It was the super duper Dyson Cat and Dog. The head also fell apart in weeks. Duaghter has it and the new head fell apart on her in a couple of months. Fortunately it has a five years warantee so they sent another.
I haven’t any pets and only me here so only have to give a proper hoover every week and a quick whiz around every couple of days
Much warmer here today and sun is trying to come through
Lots of dogs and horses enjoying the beach today .
I’ve been looking at the adverts for the G-Tech Air Ram, wondered if they were any good. If or when my Henry retires, perhaps I’ll think about it.
Had a lovely day with the little boys. Took them to Brecon library for a day organised by the Brecknock Wildlife Trust and they spent ages colouring pics of birds and making bits and bobs. Had lunch in the Wellington, which was lovely until Nana picked up the salt cellar, and the bottom fell out- hysterics all round! Only downside was the fact that we overstayed our welcome in the car park and I now have a ticket! Turned into rather an expensive day out
Got caught in a heavy sleet shower on our walk earlier.
My eyes have been sore for a couple of days, been using eye bath a few times during the day so hoping they improve so I don’t have to go to the Dr’s.
This week seems to have gone quickly.
I was thinking that Rhosyn, don’t know where the time goes. Off for a haircut shortly - only seems like a couple of weeks since the last one… - and I have to pay my parking fine
Nanna made an impact yesterday Sue. I am sure the salt story will be aired for years to come.
-4c last night but crisp and sunny. Off for blood test and then to sort out vacuum cleaner with Meile. Looked at yours Nimby, not sure if it would be robust, or have the capacity, for our pad. Nice cleaner though. Having spent £700 on the durned things, last year, another one is off the cards. Then Porche must go in for brakes, now that Renault is back. I was quite excite last night as the speedo rolled over to 66,666 miles on the M3. OK, little things etc. Then I saw a major pile up and the excitement left rapidly.
Bright sparkling day outside, hope it lasts. Have a good day.
I agree Celyn …my Ram is fine for me but I would imagine you would need something stronger for your menagerie
Started off nice here but now clouded over…off out later to look at dish washers…
Rain here at first but just overcast now.
Had to take something out to the car and its bitterly cold.
Having another quiet one
Shame about the ticket Sue . Last time I went to Mumbles I couldn’t find any free places and then realised no change for the meter so it was a wing and a prayer that I would get back to the car before the man came and ticketed me
Sitting in hospital so having an iPad moment. Sorry Nimby there has to be a third thing. Can’t be a vacuum cleaner so oven/microwave/ iron?
Miele are sending me a new Turbo head. Fingers crossed.
Thought of you last night Nimby. Put on bedroom light, all lights upstairs went poof! Went back down into garage to switch back on. Cats escaped. Couldn’t leave them out in -4C so bribery and more bribery…after taking the garage apart looking for them. Good game.
