Very quiet on here today. Was cold earlier then warmed up a bit so I managed quite a few walks today.

Hairdresser was due at 9.30 but sheās just texted-she has a tooth abscess and so has cancelled so will be scruffy for a week!

Back from a lovely week-end in beautiful North Wales, the weather was kind to us and we enjoyed a very restful couple of days at Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel.
The food was wonderful too!
We love Wales and everything about it, the people are welcoming and friendly, the countryside stunning and the hotels and food are always first class.

Another lovely day here, got loads of washing done and quite a bit of general tidying up around the place. Spent 20 minutes brushing Lexi (canāt get an appt at the poodle parlour until 24th Oct. so sheās going to be very fluffy by then). As soon as Iād finished with her I turned my back and she promptly went back to her hobby - hole digging - and turned up half an hour later looking worse than she had before I startedā¦
Lovely day again . Iāve been out for lunch enjoying my sea view now

Itās been a sad week as one friend has had her leg amputatedā¦her choice as she has suffered from a leg ulcer for 9 yrs and all treatments have failedā¦another has terminal cancer and another has been diagnosed with Alzheimersā¦sorry about the spelling!..and to top it allā¦no line dance this week as teacher is dancing in Benidorm!
Things can only get better !!!

Popped to Mumbles to the bank . It was really sunny and warm here so set off in summer clothes . Bank only about 2 miles away but everybody was wrapped up with fleeces and scarves and the wind was chilly, I looked daft

Had an expensive morning out in Hereford. Bought a new camera, (need my hand held setting it up and getting used to it) a padded jacket (not quite big enough, it will have to go back) and a pair of black boots (Sainsburys of all places!). Think Iād better check my bank balanceā¦
Had an early start this morning-now in for the rest of the day.Going to catch up with some tv recordings this afternoon and do some knitting.

Just finished a few bits of sewing ie mending a tear in my kaftan, Iāve had it years but really like it but not much good at sewing
