Another lovely day here. Saturday was the pits, poured all day, but we still made over £1500 at our Macmillan Coffee Morning. Yesterday Ness and I took Rob out to lunch and for a ride round the countryside which was lovely. Today is housework and a trip to the Bank - that’s quite an expedition as they have decided to open the NatWest branch in Hay on only three days during the week and only from 10.30 - 3.30 pm. Consequently there are often queues out through the door. I swear this country is going backwards…
I always forget what days my bank is closed Sue . Its caught me out a few times. It’s a Wednesday lol
Nice and sunny but quite windy. I’ve been busy with the hoover and it shatters me these days so that’s my lot.
Hi
I think I should be an Honorary member.
I only live a few miles from the border. but over the last couple of weeks all my mail from the Government and Utilities is now bilingual, but the first bit is in Welsh now.
Is this a takeover bid?
You’re welcome to be an Honarary member Swimfeeders - we welcome everyone to come and have a chat!
Having an upgrade to superfast broadband, new hub due today and will be up and running(hopefully) sometime tomorrow.Friend going to fix it for me-I’m no good with this techy stuff!
You’re welcomed as a honarary member-Swimfeeders.
How are you all, haven’t been in for a few days…or more?
With my bank I can pay in at the Post Office, so I haven’t been into the bank, in central Winchester, for a couple of years. I guess that’s why many branches are closing. We have two post offices attached to shops in the village.
Welcome to swimfeeders, hope you enjoy chatting although I have bumped into you on other threads. I have spotted your musical tastes. Did you enjoy Last Night of the Proms this year? I have it on iPlayer and have watched a few times, love it.
Sue our banks are open five days a week and till 5pm. I’m not sure if they open on a Saturday. Nice sunny day here and I spent most of it outside.
Hi and welcome swimfeeders
I was out to lunch yesterday and then had family visiting and car had to have MOT today . All well and no problems.

Really cold here today after all the sunshine we had all week. Bought myself a pair of jeans and also did some food shopping.
Hello I don’t often come here but I am just having some posts in some of the discussions threads so I thought I’d see what you are doing.
I use a chat thread in a very friendly and welcoming private and to be nameless area for this sort of discussion but I am still around Swansea.

Just one other Swansea thing you might be interested in. For some time I have been curious about the new Swansea University " Bay Campus " development on Fabian Way and now I have finally been there!
I looked in this year’s Festival programme to see if there was anything there and found an event at the Great Hall last Sunday afternoon and it was very interesting as I have drive past it so often. This is one of the Great Hall from the sea side.
The event was actually an Organ Recital but the photo seems to have come out well as it was such a nice day!
I was parked just behind the camera facing the sea.
Up and out bright and early today , had a flu vac.The surgery was jam packed but I was seen on time and all well
Bit overcast and much cooler so a day of catch up TV for me
Croeso i Gymru i bawb! Welcome to all in Welsh!
