Over 50's Wales Club

Busy day. Got Michael up in his chair. First time since December 7th last year, when he went into hospital. Took him out into the garden, first time since August last year. While in his chair I cleaned his bedroom carpets!! UGH! Nurse and HCA brilliant and made Michael very happy. HCA (Health Care Assistant) left his old company to join this one so he can work with Michael. Feeling blessed.

Celyn glad to hear that Michael got out in the garden today for a little while. Nice sunny day here and I went into town to change a pair of trousers.

Sue I’m enjoying Cold Feet as well. Looking forward to Robbie Coltrane at 9pm C4 i think . Julie Walters is also in it
Been out for lunch and it hasn’t been a bad day

Just seen your post Celyn, great to get Michael outside for a while xxx

Didn’t watch CF first time round…glad to see that Michael is able to get out Celyn. It’s been dank and grey here all day…we’re off to Eastbourne tomorrow for a lunch on Friday, my son gave us a BuyaGift 2 day break for Xmas so we thought we might as well use it and stay for a couple of days…

Oh Celyn, how wonderful that Michael can get outside at last. Bet he’ll sleep tonight with all that fresh air and being in happy mode!

Just shut the door on the last of the children, now going to change and go to Craft Club and sit and sew all evening. Bliss!

Going to meet granddaughter in Swansea for lunch then going to see “Bridget Jones’ Baby”.
How nice for Michael to feel the sun on his face-Celyn.
I enjoyed Cold Feet the first time around and think this time it hasn’t lost"it".

Have a good time Nimby (as usual lol)You would enjoy CF even if you didnt follow it last time . I can hardly remember who did what last time
Grey and overcast out there so an afternoon catching up with recordings for me

Nimby enjoy your break away. Overcast here at the moment and I’m going to catch up on some housework. I enjoyed Cold Feet first time around and still enjoying it.

Grey morning, not seen the forecast yet. Off to Guildford with Lark for her chemo once I’ve done Michael’s dressings. Just don’t want bucketing down rain for the journey. Enjoy your day whatever it brings.

Lovely sunshine here and the sea is like a mill-pond
Popped out to chemist and happy to be back
What did you think of the film Rhosyn ?

Lovely sunshine here too.Granddaughter’s having her 20week scan today,so I’ll know later what colour wool to knit with next!
The film was very good Jac,really enjoyed it would recommend it.The only think about the cinema-it’s very loud!

Granddaughter’s scan showed that’s all well with the baby and it’s a girl:-)

Thats good news Rhosyn, pink wool it is then xx
Rain at first but sunny now , a bit of a wind though
I’ve got an eye test later 'I’ve lost one pair of glasses and broken the arm off the other so I think it will be an expensive day

Had all my bed linen out on the line this morning and within half an hour the rain came! However it cheered up later, dried the washing and it’s not all ironed and put away. Lexi meanwhile had been developing her new hobby, digging! She came in soaking wet and covered in mud! Have just about managed to get her cleaned up. Also cooked up a load of crab apples today and they are now straining into a bowl in the kitchen. Jelly making tomorrow.

What are you making with the pink wool Rhosyn?

Wild and wintry out there today so a duvet day for me
All well with my eye test yesterday but because I have lost one pair and broken the arm off another its going to cost me . I won the postcode lottery ,all of £20 so that will go towards the glasses lol

Very windy driving on the M4 this morning but luckily got home before the rain.
Granddaughter’s not keen on pink knits so it’ll be lilac, lemon and pale green 1st and 2nd size cardigans.

Lovely Rhosyn, I expect you’ll enjoy doing that.

Youngest son came over this morning and boxed in the pipes in Rob’s bathroom (only been waiting for him to do that for a year!). Nana will be having a lie in tomorrow morning, he took Lexi home with him for the night and for tomorrow. I shall be going to the rugby tournament at Gwernyfed - if the weather is OK. Jamie mowed my lawn this afternoon and Chris helped me chop off some rubbish in the garden, so feeling glad that that job’s done.

We had a lovely time in Eastbourne and the weather was brilliant…had a lovely lunch with Chris Stevens and other ex sagas…only 7 of us…a select few
Sunshine and showers here…

Sunshine and showers here as well. Very blustery wind as well
I’ve got my bedding out drying so hope the rain holds off xx
