Nightmare journey home from dance today …trains cancelled left right and centre because of a man sitting in the middle of the track up in the valleys…took almost 2 hrs to get home…:shock:

(As if you’d know!) I wasn’t out to lunch, had the little boys here and picked loads of runner beans off my plants, so guess what we had. Went to the dentist after lunch and let’s face it girls, I’m falling to bits. Yet another crumbling tooth which is beyond repair and has to come out - think I may leave the country on September 11th…
Beautiful day here, tea out on the patio - whinberry crumble, courtesy of youngest son, and now there is a full moon, you could read a book out there. Probably too bright to see the meteor shower but I will look on my way to bed. Nos da all.

I think I should have stayed in bed today-lots of little things gone wrong but on the grand scale of things they weren’t that bad!

I made a fool of myself in the surgery. I had a massive panic attack and the poor nurse ended up taking an ECG .She prob thought I was having a heart attack but all was well. I came home and had a double whisky and feel much better now lol

Eldest grandson’s birthday tomorrow.He’s back in Swansea to celebrate.Three grandchildren and grandson in law coming for lunch.Chicken roasting and veg prepared.Having coffee before the onslaught!

Youngest daughter and twins over from Llandough. Went to the Golf Range/School for lunch and they were able to have a putt around which kept them out of mischief.
As I have bored you all on FB we are celebrating Grandaughters superb A level results. The college rang yesterday, ahead of results, to ask would she take part in a press photo today, as they expected to have good results. She refused as not her scene:-(
Really very, very warm again and SO humid. We obviously had a heavy shower early this morning, which has raised the humidity levels.

Weeeee it’s pouring. Delighted because no watering of the garden. I had almost forgotten what rain was like. Downside? I went to a garden centre for lunch. Too wet to go outside and the temperature has dropped 10 degrees from yesterday.

The wind howled all night and still very blowy today . Massive waves and it brought some sand back over the stones in front of the flats so that’s good.Looks a lot nicer. Rain showers very heavy so don’t think I’ll be venturing out.
