Cooled down considerably today and overcast…on the up side…I’ve done all the holiday washing and ironing 
Still very hot and sunny hear. 29C when I last looked. Looking forward to a cooler night tonight. It was still too warm outside at midnight last. In case you’re wondering I was out there trying to get one naughty cat in for the night. Eldest daughter chose the right week to have a break with her family in Devon, it has been glorious for them. Old dog struggling in this heat and getting very worried about her.
Really hot here yesterday and then thunder and lightening just after midnight. Been really cool here today with some heavy showers.
Just come back from the cinema - and I agree with you Rhosyn, Ab Fab was OK in parts but I wouldn’t want to see it again. So many celebs in it - I couldn’t put a name to half of them though!
Still very warm here, even at this time of night. Most unusual for this neck of the woods. Because we are 900 ft. above sea level, it’s never that warm in the evenings. Managed to clean Rob’s truck inside this morning and remove some of Lexi’s muddy footprints (how did that happen?) and then spent quite some time watching the Royal Welsh on TV. Much rejoicing tonight as a local boy has won Champion Shearer of Wales.
Off to see Ab Fab today with friends and then staying with my niece and off to North Berwick in the morning.
Much cooler this morning,looks like it might rain,had a couple of drops last evening.
Just granddaughter coming to see Mamgu later.She’s had a job promotion so she’s a happy lady:-)

Had a busy day so far.Early morning start tomorrow,going across the bridge to stay with son no2 for a week or so.Hope it rains in the night a few times or my poor garden will suffer.
Went and bought a new electric fire as I’m moving from my front living room into the back…seemed a good idea at the time…:shock:…I’ll get there eventually
Booked next years holiday this afternoon…going back to Nerja
Took the little boys to Brecon cathedral this morning to a Craft morning - bless them, they sat and coloured for an hour and a half! Then we went into the cathedral to be “detectives” and find all the things pictured on our detectives sheets. Then back to the Garden Centre for lunch and eventually home by 3 pm.Managed to put Rob’s sunshade up - that will be the kiss of death for the weather, I bet you!

I feel wiped out after yesterday so having a lazy one.Just watered my plants,they were thirsty
Don’t think my lap top likes it here- took ages to log on.Glad I had an early start before it got too hot to travel.
Taking it easy today.
Out of the house before 8 am. Shopping done, then back home to put stuff in the freezer and fridge. Up to Church to titivate the flowers and clean and prepare for visitors for tea there tomorrow. Now cooling off in the sitting room and off out for a chinese takeaway with friends this evening (I’m taking the Pimms).
Another scorcher today. I think I am becoming aclimatised.
Had to make the dreaded decision with my old dog (16 years 4 months) yesterday. It happened so quickly that I was in a state of shock . Reality kicking in today.

Went to see my son’s friend’s new house in sunny Surrey,it’s huge!Had coffee out on the terrace then had lunch in a lovely pub,now full up and tired.

Good evening everybody was away for the weekend with my niece and her daughter and grandsons and great grand daughter for the weekend. Weather was a mix of showers and sunshine.
Cloudy here but no rain forecast so a load of washing on the line and fingers crossed. Out to help a friend after lunch. They are hosting a Farm Walk for approx. 60 people - can’t wait to see how the coach is going to get down their lane. Decided to give them Bara Brith and soft drinks after walking the farm - hope they’ve arranged some bales to sit down on!
