Done all my “visiting” for today so nothing else planned for the weekend.Might go to the garden centre that’s a couple of miles from here on Monday-don’t like the Bank Holiday traffic!
I posted there too. If you want that info about Wales I would Google. Obviously know zilch about Wales, so why want to move there?
why ask the question and not come back to read and answer the replies
I also posted on that thread. As you say-why not check the replies?!
Lovely sunny day here went into town and had a look round the shops. Hope the weather will be the same tomorrow.
Its a wet chilly one here so not venturing out
Have a good one xxx
Having a relaxing day today after standing with my bucket for the AA at the Antiques Fair at the Builth Showground all day yesterday. Thanks to the wonderful weather we had really heavy buckets at the end of the day and I came home, picking up Lexi on the way, with a sunburnt nose!!
Vanessa arrived here about 8 pm with a curry for 2 from Tesco which was absolutely delicious, so we had a fun evening catching up. She’s gone to a Point to Point near Leominster (hope she had the wellies in the car because it’s been raining all morning!) Glad I’m at home in the warm.
Son went to Judgement Day in Cardiff, that’s why I have Lexi. Expect he’s just about getting up now, so will pick her up later - much later…
The little boys are at the last rugby tournament of the season in Abergavenny, let’s hope they do well.
It’s been raining all day.Spent the morning “pottering” about the house. This afternoon I’m catching up with t.v.programs I’ve missed. Wonder if the member who wanted info about Wales has decided where to move to?!
We had a lovely sunny day yesterday, which turned grey, and rain, in the evening. Raining this morning. Hospital visiting yesterday and today. Youngest grandchild 5 tomorrow, so present wrapping.
Pleased your bucket rattling produced lots of money Sue.
If you didn’t know it is Bank Holiday it has been easy to guess over the last few days. All roads blocked as thousands head for the ports, New Forest and Dorset beaches (mainly Poole and Bournemouth) Tonight they will be trying to head back home
Raining again today-but it is a Bank Holiday!
No plans, just taking the day as it comes.
Wet and wintry here so nothing planned
Well done Sue for your bucket shaking xxx
Grey and, when I last looked out of the window, wet and windy.
Turned out to be a lovely afternoon.Think all the motor bikes in Wales passed my house this afternoon-must have been a rally somewhere.
It started wet and windy here then we had some sunshine. Met my friends in town today for coffee and a chat. Jac I emailed Maureen Wilson and she was asking for you. She was with us in Inverness when we met up with you and Anne and her cousin.
Bright and sunny start here…off to class soon…have a good folks
Feeling a bit lost this morning-my dog’s gone for a hair cut, strange without him in the house even tho’ he sleeps most of the day!
Sunny here today with a few showers. Went into town and treated myself to a pair of boots.
Had an interesting afternoon going round Sir Roy Strong’s garden “The Laskett” a few miles outside Hereford. Think it would have been a bit more attractive a bit later on in the season when the plants will be a bit more prominent. Atm there is rather a lot of hard landscaping, which isn’t really my cup of tea, but it was very interesting to see. (Must have cost the earth - but he and his late wife have been 40 odd years making it). We picked a good day to go, a lovely drive down the Golden Valley and sunshine and breezes all afternoon.
Nice day here too yesterday. It was youngest grandchilds 5th birthday, so went to see him yesterday evening. It was 24C the day he was born,. so quite a contrast in weather but still nice. Daughter saw oncologist and thrashed out her further treatment. She seemed sa lot happier post appointment. She has decided against Chemo. It raises her survival by 0.95% She has decided that for all the evil side effects of Chemo, for so little return, she is going to give it a miss. There were a lot of other reasons why, mainly because of the sucess of the surgery and the good prognosis. She starts Radiotherapy in 4 weeks and then hormone therapy.
Your daughter seems to be coping well Celyn, she is a tough one like her mother xxx
Sunshine here but a chill breeze. +Not doing much
