It turned out it was a fella I saw yesterday and he was very nice and easy to talk to . I was there for about an hour and a quarter and talked his head off . He could only suggest books to read, websites to look at and group therapy either in a classroom/lecture type format or in a group. I’m’ not keen on either. I’m seeing GP next week and have an appt for the fella for 3 months . He agreed with me that if the medication is not doing much good maybe I should come off it slowly.Thinking it all through

Oil tank filled about 3.30 pm and Aga and CH boiler lit. Hooray. Never know how much you miss these things until you haven’t got them! Off to Craft Club now.

You have your heating Sue, now the weather seems to be warmer. Sods law ? It was glorious driving down to the hospital today. Have to go to the hospital with daughter tomorrow, in the opposite direction to where Michael is. She has to have more blood tests before her operation next Tuesday, as they have found a slight problem. She’s in a right tizz, poor girl. When you add the C word to anything it takes on a whole new meaning.

Been to hospital Tuesday. First day able to go out without a coat, brilliant.
Funny you should say that about Banana Sue. I bought a bag of dried Mango and nuts in M & S. The Mango was as hard as nails. I had to pick it all out, leaving me with only a half a bag of edible nuts.
After being inspired by you Sue, I went and had another look at the Winchester U3A site. What a difference from when I last looked. Including the activities that they now have. A year ago it was dire. They now have the talks, that sound similar to the ones that you attend. I have sent off my joining fee. I don’t know if I will be able to attend on a permanent basis but I may be able to manage a few sessions before Michael comes home.
Off to U3A in a short while (with a friend who lives in the village and who is a member of Hay on Wye U3A. I didn’t know that there was one in Hay until after I’d joined Brecon). The talk this morning is on Walter Wilkins, a solicitor in Brecon in the 1800s. I have heard of him before - think he was a bit of a 19thCentury whizz kid! Rosie can’t make it today, she’s only just come back from Italy and has to consult with her builder. Hope you get to go to U3A Celyn, it does inspire one to do more research. Thank goodness for the internet!

Its been pouring all morning here. It was pouring at 6 a.m. A wee bit of sun at about 9 then pouring again!!
Been putting t to good use. Cleaning bathrooms and cloakroom.

It turned out quite a nice day here. no rain at least so I cleaned my window . Really exciting life I lead lol
It’s been a grey day all day here. Looks just like November. Heating engineer came to minister to the Aga - although we managed to light it after running out of oil it wasn’t happy and I couldn’t get the oven temp above 240 - not a lot of use. I’ve just been sitting sewing, so quite liking a bit of TV now. Must get up early and go and do some shopping tomorrow, running out of all sorts of things. Hope I remember to take the shopping list!

I’ve not had much on in the way of heating this winter and realised that the flat above had put underfloor heating in so perhaps I’m getting the benefit
