Arrived at son’s 11ish.Poured down all the way to the bridge then lovely sunshine.Gripe on the motorway today? drivers without lights on in the terrible conditions.Rant over!
Lazy day today, recovering from half term. Poured all morning then cleared up at lunchtime, so I had a quick trip to Llandrindod for a bit of shopping.
Nice sunny morning here in Berkshire.Going out for lunch later.

Cold and sunny here today visited my friend and did some shopping.
Lovely day yesterday, but it looks like we’re in for a few heavy showers today. Still, we’ll run between the spots and try and get Rob out for a ride up to Leominster and lunch in Morrisons. Drove Jamie down to Hay to meet his Mum after school last night and was amazed at the number of people around the town. Welsh schools went back this week but the English ones are still on Easter hols. Suppose that is what caused the influx of visitors.
Raining here this morning off to a first birthday party later. Sue the chidren are still on holiday here.
Still on holiday here too…when I was in school we had 4 weeks off for Easter and Xmas and almost 2 mnths in the summer because it was a boarding and day school and a lot of the boarders parents lived abroad hence the long breaks…only two and a half days for half term though. Sounds good but I remember being a tad lonely when my friends went back to their school and there was only me

Had a nice afternoon in Windsor yesterday.Went to some lovely shops but my knee let me know I’d walked too much.Never been one for spending hours shopping even in my younger knee free pain days.

For those of you who know Mumbles Tesco is opening this month on the old Treasure shop site . Not many locals happy about it because it used to be a pretty village for holidaymakers and townies to come and spend an afternoon bit there is building work going on on the front and nowhere much to park.

It’s a shame that Treasure closed-bigger shame that Tesco’s opening there.
