Over 50's Wales Club

Wrote a great long screed on here this morning and the whole thing has vanished!

Yes I did see the SB Rhosyn and know what you mean about Nicole. If only she wouldn’t pull such strange faces!

Lovely sunny one and there is a tent on the beach and some lads playing footie. Nice to see
Cleaned my window so can enjoy the view again lol
Keep safe xxx

Lovely sunshine again today.
Granddaughter and the children are coming to my garden on Monday. As soon as it was given the go ahead that this was allowed she was phoning to say they’d be up.However hard it will be we will keep the correct distance apart. They do live more than 5miles away but not much more- who’s to know?! She’s missed me as much as I’ve missed her,we’ve always had a close bond.
Done all my indoors chores so out the garden for the rest of the day.
Enjoy the sunshine,keep safe.

Another sunny one . There were a lot more people on the beach yesterday enjoying picnics ad ball games ,not too crowded though
I’m not doing much ,had a really bad nights sleep last night so a sofa day today.
Keep safe xx

Just finishing lunch and granddaughter and puppy arrived. Sat on the patio (nearly 6 ft. apart) and played with the puppy. She’s grown but still looks just like Lexi. Made me wish …

Lovely sunny one . White Rabbits . Beat you to it Sue xxx
No news . Be safe xx

As the song says “June is busting out all over”
Went to B&M first thing this morning to get a couple of new things for the children to play with in the garden. They’ve not seen the toys that are already here since March so they will think they’re new too!
Enjoy the sunshine and keep safe.

White - oh too late! Lovely morning, except that it’s so breezy the sun umbrella keeps sliding down its support. Have a voucher for the Garden Centre that I was going to spend on a new one but of course haven’t been able to get there.

Washing in the machine, lunch in the oven, coffee drunk, what to do next?

Lovely sunshine again.Washing pegged out,it’ll be dry in no time.
Taking it easy today after yesterday’s visitors. It was lovely to see some of the family. My little g.graddaughter made my day when she said “nice to see you Mamgu” bless her.
Have a good day,keep safe.

My granddaughter gave me a jigsaw-a lovely picture of her family-including their black Lab.It’s 1000 (small)pieces.Jigsaws aren’t my thing but I’ll give it a go!But not in this nice weather. Will be sending for a jigsaw mat so I can do it at my leisure. Are the mats a good buy-Sue?

Another sunny one . Just finished doing Tesco order for tomorrow. Still doing for my neighbour, its harder to shop for someone else, she is very specific !!
Keep safe xx

I’m amazed at the number of things that are “Sold Out” at Asda and this morning I had an email to tell me that two things I ordered would be substituted. Is Tesco like this Jac or can you usually get what you want? I’m actually waiting for an Asda delivery this evening - deep joy.

Jac - Did you see that Celyn’s Michael is very poorly? I’m not sure whether you go on FBook.

It’s my fault the weather has changed-my new garden recliner chair arrived yesterday! The garden badly needed the rain.
Had a go at cutting my hair this morning at least my fringe and round my ears.
Posted some Welsh cakes and tin of Laver bread to my son over the bridge this morning.Hopefully he’ll be able to visit next month.
Have a good day.

A damp one here for a change
Yes Sue I did see Celyns post about Michael .Feel for them both xx
Tesco has just been and yes Sue they usually send most things and if there is a substitute its usually for a better or bigger item. You don’t have to accept it .Just put shop away and delivered to next door . Even though we live so close we hardly ever see each other normally
Keep safe xx
PS On Sun there was a shark stranded in a pool on the beach. It got away ok . I didn’t see it but it was near the shops I think

Very overcast but sun is trying to get through.
Having a lazy one (as usual)
Keep safe

Did you see the Sewing Bee last night Rhosyn? I felt for Whatshsiname (I’m hopeless with names but you will know who I mean).

Very windy here and awaiting the arrival of new parasol. Hope it will be pretty windproof - that was the downfall of the old one.

Chilly out this morning.
My exciting weekly trip to Tesco this morning.Quite in the store, doesn’t seem to be a shortage of anything at the moment.Put petrol in car, first time since middle of March.£1.09 a litre!
Sue-caught up with SB yesterday afternoon.Yes I felt for Matt(that’s his name!) too.Liked the shoulder pad jacket challenge.
Keep safe and warm.

Overcast and chilly here .The beach is deserted.
Sorted out my recycling and hope that my daughter will pop down to take to bins .
Have a safe one xxx

Lovely morning but v windy. Washing is double pegged on the line and is probably dry by now.

Rather cross because the new parasol (which was supposed to be delivered yesterday) is not now being delivered until next Tuesday. Have supported this Garden Centre for years and always been pleased with them until now. What gets up my nose is the fact I could have ordered a parasol from Amazon for half the price and it would have been delivered next day. No wonder people chose to shop with them! Ah well, it looks as though the temperature won’t be high enough to sit outdoors anyway for the next few days…

Chilly out this morning but had a dry walk.
No plans today other than I might start the jigsaw at least get the edges sorted.
Sue-just as well you have to wait for your parasol,no need to find shade for the next few days.
Have a good day.
