Eldest grandson phoned this morning from Richmond-he was out walking,he’s bored.Hope to have video chat with granddaughter and children tomorrow.

Surprised to see that we’d had some rain when I got up this morning, but the day was lovely if somewhat chilly. Loads more laundry done - I’m washing all Rob’s sheets and towels now, not taking them to the hospital laundry, so I’m really glad of all this fine weather.
Put my electric blanket on again this morning. Last night I had to get out and find my bed socks, my feet were freezing.
Another frosty start to the day,lovely sunshine now.
New bedding arrived this morning,ordered last Wednesday,washed and out on the line.

Enjoyed the Sewing Bee last night. Yes , the right one went home. Isn’t Patrick a dish? I hadn’t seen him as a rugby player though - I thought a rugby shirt was a very difficult thing to make. Loved the tennis dress that won.
Made a casserole and baked potatoes this morning. DIL will pick it up on her way home. Lovely day again. Gave myself a holiday from washing!

Went to Tesco early this morning,also got a few things from Home Bargains.
There are still people in Tesco not keeping to the one way system-grrr.

Had a delivery from Asda today. Several things altered but nothing of any consequence. The carer who came in tonight brought me washing powder from Aldi, so I’m all stocked up for now. Had lovely strawberries for tea.

Up early this morning had a lovely walk up the mountain,didn’t meet a single person,it’ll be busy there later on.
Expecting some bark for the garden borders to be delivered this afternoon so I’ll be busy later on.

Just had a phone call from the friend who came for coffee a week last Wednesday. She’s thinks she’s had the virus (went for a test yesterday but won’t know the results for a few days at least). Slight cough, terrible headache and has slept for 18 hours out of 24, but feeling better today. Luckily she had her coffee on the patio and I sat in the conservatory and we yelled at each other, so should be OK (which was why she was phoning to check on us!) Bit close to home for comfort…
Karen and Joe popped down for a few minutes yesterday then went down on the beach for a walk.

The delivery of bark came late yesterday afternoon and I had no hwyl to do it so I’ll tackle it today.

Hoping youngest son will come this morning to put up new washing line, old one is on the point of collapse. Will try and persuade him to do a couple of other little jobs while he is here (which will entail some ducking and diving to maintain a 6 ft. distance!).

I’m so cross - and jealous. Rob’s carer came in earlier and happily informed me that she has booked three online delivery slots from Asda. (She can go to the supermarket - it’s only a mile or so down the road from where she lives!). I’ve been online several times a day and can’t get a slot for love nor money. It’s booked solid up to June 1st. Grrr!!!
I’ve got Tesco slots up until middle of June,one due tomorrow .

Pup found some stinky stuff to roll in this morning,had to wash him down and wash his collar and harness,what a stink!
