U3A this morning (talk on Rise of modern Japan - fascinating). Met Rosie and Anthea and friend for lunch at the Garden centre. Out to pub quiz tonight - we came fourth (goodness knows how!) and now having a cuppa and off up to bed. Goodnight all.

Back home yesterday morning.A stone hit the windscreen and it was cracked but didn’t affect the vision.This is the first time this has happened in all the years I’ve been driving-so I’ve been lucky.
Very cold out this morning,the forecast is cold for the rest of the week.

I just finished my Tesco order and now it wont take my payment,blooming thing
No sunshine here this morning but it’s dry.
Having the windscreen replaced tomorrow between 9&5.They will text me with an hour time slot.Haven’t driven the car since Saturday in case the crack gets bigger and I’d be stuck somewhere.

Bitterly cold here today, we even had sleety snow this afternoon. Decided to stay home in the warm tonight - first time I’ve missed Craft Club in a long time. Never mind, I can sew at home!

Replacement windscreen done yesterday,now nice clean and without the crack.Was glad to be able to drive this morning.

Rob’s not very well (uti and very sleepy) so carer and I have spent the day coaxing sips of drink down, plus some rice pud and apple. Glorious day of sunshine though very cold.
Hope Rob is feeling better today Sue . I’ve had a funny virus (I think).Horrible frontal headache and neck stiff and crackly . I thought it was just me but now find Daughter and Handiman both have same symptoms
Wet,windy and very cold here so pot of beef stew going on in a minute
Like the sound of that beef stew. I’ve been making lemon curd all morning - Christmas presents for carers. Rob’s still not eating much, so I’ll not bother cooking for one! Cold and miserable here today, glad to be indoors.

Met friends for an early Christmas lunch.Couple of them I won’t see until next year.One of them has had terrible 2018 we all hope the next one will be better for her.

Think Rob is on the mend, but it’s taking a long time. He’s eating very little and only drinking with lots of persuasion, so fingers crossed.
Played bowls this morning but kept checking my phone after each game, and glad to be back in the early afternoon. Going to watch the match now - come on Wales.
