Showery this morning bit brighter this afternoon.
Went to Neath fair this morning,the street fair not the funfair.Some of the stalls were selling rubbishy tat.I did buy the dog a new bed-haggled the price and had it for£3 instead of £4.99.Felt quite pleased with myself not usually that brave!
Well at last I’m back! Had a new pooter this week and the site refused to let me log in. However, thanks to Azz, he’s reset my password - must make a note of it in case anything like that happens again!

Suffering a plague of flies here (not just me, they are rampant in the village and beyond). Goodness knows why, they weren’t as bad as this when it was hot!
Went to Church this morning in padded jacket and with gloves on! But they say the temperatures should go up to 20’s next week ???

As I’m booked in for a haircut tomorrow, we went shopping with Rob today instead. Road to Leominster closed (about half a mile from the Barons Cross junction) and diverted down a tiny lane. Followed a guy driving a Range Rover and towing a small trailer. Met large lorry on a bend and the RR driver couldn’t reverse for toffee. After about 5 mins the lorry driver decided to be a gentleman and reverse into a gateway (by which time there were four cars behind me). Decided not to come home that way!
Then got held up behind a tractor for miles and miles…
Just collected the boys from the school bus and Chris and I have been researching WW1 uniforms to make a peg doll for the Autumn competitions that the Craft Club run. Can see headaches ahead…

Bloke putting right the damage my leak caused has turned up so made a start but now has disappeared again .It doesn’t affect me really so not bothered. I’m not going out in this anyway
It’s been really wild here today. High winds, a heavy shower at lunchtime and then blue skies this afternoon with more wind.
Feel so much better since I managed to get my hair cut and enjoyed bowls this evening. Youngest grandson came with me since his Mum and brother were busy with the sheep (again). He really enjoyed himself!
Thank goodness the wind has died down.
Family coming for a late lunch later.

Just spent half an hour checking in on line for my trip next week. Actually checking in wasn’t a problem but printing my boarding passes caused me a headache. However, all sorted now. Also had a slight heart attack when my passport wasn’t where I thought it was (!), but found that too, so I’m a happy bunny.
Dreadful wet day here and I have to pick up the grandson from rugby this evening - trying to think how to mud proof the car…

I was in all afternoon yesterday watching tv mostly. My granddaughter phoned about 6pm and asked if I had seen the lady being brought out of the sea and was drowned. I didn’t see a thing(not that I’d want to really ) I went on-line and saw that the ambulances and police were near the shops just around the corner. There weren’t many on the beach because the wind was so bad and waves huge. Poor lady xxx
Rain first thing now the sun’s shining.Hope to go into garden later to plant some dwarf tulips.No other plans.

Back late last night from the Ploughing Match in Pembroke. The big refreshment tents were tied down to three silage trailers (on Thursday night) and stayed that way over the weekend. Unfortunately it poured down on Saturday and we had rather a lot of mud to contend with. However the show went on and we only had to have the car pushed off, not towed. Got home at 10.15 pm and really tired. Haven’t done much today…
