Going to meet up with middle grandson later,taking him for lunch then heās going to stay with me for 2 nights.Probably wonāt see him again before he goes to uni. next month.

Couldnāt have been worse weather for the village fete, but loads of people turned out, fancy dress and all! It finally stopped about 4 pm and then everyone was hungry - we must have sold several hundred burgers and hot dogs. Came home around 7 pm with shoes full of feet and Iām off to bed early this evening.

What a washout weatherwise yesterday.
Had a lovely surprise Saturday morning-son no2 turned up.He went to see his new great nephew.Then he took me out for a late lunch.Yesterday met up with son no1 and had lunch out with my two"boys"
Son no2 went back to Berkshire earlier.Having a quiet day today.
Hectic day today. Took my boys swimming, then to lunch and finally to the Cinema to see Incredibles 2 - which was hilarious. Then Craft Club, and finally an hour watching recorded Holby City. Off to bed now, whacked!
Iāve contacted Meg re Jacās problem and she says Jac should use the āContact Usā button at the bottom of each page. Fingers crossed.
Being having problems with wifi for couple of days,sorted now I hope.
Turned out nice this afternoon-risked putting clothes out on line.

Had a terrible nights sleep-hence the early morning post.
G.grandson now weighs 6lb 2ozs and his cheeks are starting to be chubby.

White Rab bits Rhosyn - rather late. Spent the morning (well until 2.30 pm) at a Flea Market in Hay, raising money for the Church. Not too bad an outcome, we finished up with Ā£172, but weāre still debating whether itās worth it. Four of us involved and we all cooked and rounded up other contributions, but were stuck there all morning, most of the time twiddling our thumbs. (If we do it again, Iāll take my knitting!).
Gt. grandson sounds as though heās coming on well. You must be so relieved.

Friend coming for lunch today,veg all prepared and pork joint in the oven.Did invite son no1 but heās going to watch the cycling starting in Pembrey and ending in Newport,donāt know which bit heās going to see probably the end as went to Paris to see Geraint Thomas win the tour de France.
Loads of Swifts and House Martins flying about this morning then all of a sudden they were gone-on their way back to Africa so Autumn is here!

Had youngest grandson here for the last day of the hols (:-() and the engineer to service the Aga and Boiler. So a chilly start but warm and cosy in the kitchen now. Just off the Craft Club.

Lovely morning but what a kerfuffle . My phone and internet are playing up so I tried fiddling earlier . Managed to set my panic alarm off but phone line was too bad to speak to them . Next thing my daughter who was in bed with a migraine had the call to come and rescue me !! Poor girl. At least we know the system works
Lovely day here, wonder how many more weāll have. Went to Llandrindod to shop and then had lunch at the Lake. (Which was so filling that all we had for tea was strawberries!).

Cool and overcast here. Plumber should finish today so I should be able to have a nice shower . Strip wash in sink isnāt the same !
Managed to get BT online yesterday so they are sending an Engineer tomorrow so now no phone , no alarm and intermittent internet . How did we manage ? lol
Firmās engineers came to check Robās bath out this morning. First thing they said was āWhereās Lexiā? (Sob!) Dav, the head man, always brought treats for her, and needless to say, she never left his side!
