Off to play bowls shortly, then a quick dash home for a bite and then rehearsal for the Womens World Day of Prayer (to be held on 4th March). Does anyone else go to this - or have you even heard of it?

Glorious sun. Just wrapped Michaelās birthday presents for tomorrow. Extra day to do it. Would have been my aunts birthday today. The one who died a few weeks ago. She didnāt get many actual birthdays in her life.
Fortunately I shall be able to get my Daffs from M&S Simply Food in the hospital. Have plenty in the garden but I donāt like picking my garden flowers. I like them to stay where they are, to give pleasure for longer.
Overcast and cold here today . Iāve gone mad with the hoover and even defrosted my tiny freezer . I think there was more ice than food in it . The birds will have a feast for the next few days anyway
My eldest granddaughter has a birthday today. She is aged 32 so only had 8 birthdays !!!
I donāt like picking flowers neither Celyn , prefer to see them growing .

Visit to opticianās again this morning,and as M&S is a couple of doors away from it will pop in there.
Happy St. Davidās Day. A bit overcast here this morning, just a bit of housework and a few bits from the shops.
I posted yesterday that it would have been my Aunts birthday on 29th, although she passed away a few weeks ago. Yesterday her husband, my uncle, passed away unexpecteldy and peacefully in his sleep. His heart was broken after 70 years of mariage. So a sad morning.
Off to the hospital soon to take Michaels birthday presents.
I had the great daffodil hunt last night. M & S didnāt sell them as the hospital do not allow flowers. Called at huge Tesco on the way home, not a daffodil in sight. Went to a small local Tesco and there they were, waiting for me. In desperation I almost bought Leeks in Tesco. They may not allow flowers in the hospital, but they donāt ban vegetables I am sure.
Rainy and cold today .
Cancelled my pub-lunch , not feeling too good but daughter popped down for a cuppa

Off to Portsmouth tomorrow for lunch at the Gunwharfs on Friday and then on to Bournemouth to meet up with DPās son and new girl who apparently is the one!!

Went to see a different Doc this morning but all she could suggest was a stress management course so will try that even though Iām not convinced it will help. Bludy old age lol

Went shopping earlier,donāt know why but the people serving in shops seem to be miserable.The worse one was the girl on the No7 counter in Boots it was obvious that she didnāt want to help and didnāt want to be there.The chap in the phone shop made up for it he was really cheerful,restored my faith in the human race!
