Over 50's Club Scotland

Morning. Not very nice here today a bit grey looking. Some housework today, then over to the shopping centre for a few things. Hope you enjoyed watching the roofers.

I did … I aways admire a nice bum. I know it’d be sexual harrassment for the poor young men but I’m always tempted to whistle or make some kind of appreciative whoop.

There’s a lovely 10 or so minute podcast by David Attenborough in which he talks about bird noises and how it relates to natural tendencies for humans (mostly males) to whistle

You’re back! Wonderful!

It’s gone warm here too and it’s humid. I’m with you …groan… about another heatwave.

I was talking to May earlier and she’s back, really glad about that. But she says she couldn’t post on this thread :person_shrugging: anyone any idea why that is?

Thanks SF,it’s good to be back in the fold again …I found it very strange when I wasn’t allowed to post on Our lovely Scottish thread…but…rules are rules…I also find it strange that there are very few Scots on any of the over 50s sites,I wonder why?

Morning All, Wall to Wall blue sky today with very little breeze, it’s going to be a HOT one. Even the oceans like a pond. Not much on today, as I have to wait in for the electrican, the showers decided to play silly beggers, certainly need that fixed in a hurry.

Good afternoon Each.it’s fine and sunny here but not hot…just finished cutting the grass which is so much easier quicker and lighter since I fitted a mulcher to the lawnmower…no more having to stop to empty the heavy grass basket umpteen times…Feet up now with a cuppa and a couple of Tunnocks teacakes…See Ye a’ later.x

Hi and welcome, May.!! And another Scots lassie! Out of interests, which which part of Scotland are you from? For me it was Kirriemuir near Dundee. Then I studied in Edinburgh than the rest of the World,

Hi Besoeker,I was a Member here for 9 years then I left 2 years ago…now I’m back…older and wiser

I live in the Central Belt but My postcode/Address is Glasgow, I hope You’ll become a regular poster on Our thread.

I don’t see Jessie around today…Has She been posting regularly,or maybe She’s on holiday again?..I’m also wondering about Jean (Bonnie)…I remember She just stop posting before I left.

Bonnie hasn’t been back May, neither have a few others. Jess often posts in the evening if she’s been busy all day.

I might need you lot to put your thinking caps on in a few weeks, as Mrs Dex and I are hoping to visit Aberdeen and could do with any ideas of ā€œmust seeā€.

Hi

Not Scottish, but love Scotland and the people.

Now housebound, I get an amazing call call on Mondays from Age UK.

A lady ex Police Sergeant Response Officer on nights in Glasgow.

Absolutely hilarious, I love it.

Hi May. As it happens I am regular poster here and a few other forums. My field is electrical engineering and have travelled extensively - South Africa, USA, Canada, Taiwan - that’s business. On the other side I am married with wife who is from Georgia, USA. Enough…!

I live in the outskirts of Aberdeen Dex and one of the top attractions is the Maritime Museum on Shiprow.
