Evening, It’s been very windy here and heavy rain, same forecast for tomorrow. I went to town as I had another appointment for blood tests, kidneys this time. Cardio Unit want to know how they’re doing with the new pill they added in to the heap I’m already taking, then called in at Tesco for a few things before heading home. Been in with the fire on in the den since then.
Morning. Weather much the same here this morning, wet and windy again. I’d like to go into town but I’ll wait till lunchtime and see how it is. I have things I could be doing round here, like rearranging drawers. It seems like everything is falling into place for you with all these tests.
Morning, Yes the meds are kicking in fully now, I feel it’s easier to breathe and I don’t feel so nauseous. I got a quick word with my GP yesterday after my blood test, he doesn’t have the results of my CT Scan so doesn’t know if the operation will be keyhole or the full wack. He says the discussion is now between the Cardio Unit in Dundee and the Surgeon in Edinburgh, I have to have a face to face with Edinburgh before they make up their minds. I’m just glad things are moving along, albeit it slowly.
Morning. Glad to hear you can breathe a lot easier now, and the meds are kicking in… That’s the worst part waiting for results of scans, lets hope you don’t have to wait to long. Weather still not very nice here this morning, but I di manage to get out yesterday and started cutting back some shrubs.
Afternoon, It’s a lot better here today, rains stopped and the winds dropped. We didn’t go out for dinner last night too horrible weather wise, we may go tonight. We’re planning to take the clydes to the beach late afternoon they’ve been couped up and need some exercise.
Hi V hope your well
Evening. Hope you managed to get out to dinner last night. We went to Largs yesterday , had some lunch when it started to rain, so back in the car and came home. Haven’t seen rain like it for ages. Met a friend today for coffee at Braehead.
@Rox … good to hear you can breathe easier … firstly, it’s very scary, probably one of the worst most scary feelings in the world and secondly, it;s very depressing.
I think you’re doing great being so upbeat and positive. You’ll feel so much better when it’s over and you can get about more.
@Mags36 … hello threre!
@valentinojess … I love your little daily sojourns. You’re so descriptive . I feel like I’m there with you. Hal the time I have to google to see where these place are in Scotland
Evening, Not a bad day here again but a bit windy. No Jess we didn’t go out for dinner, himself never mentioned it so I kept quiet.
It’s good to be at the pool again even if it’s just pool walking and side exercises. Got to go myself today and I was fine with it.
Morning, Nice today so the washings on and I’m away to do some greenhouse work this morning.
Big day for me, I’m having my hair cut, and I mean cut. From my waist to my shoulders. I’ve been struggling with the length lately so after days of pondering I phoned earlier and my hairdresser is coming at 4pm
Hope I don’t regret this.
Morning. Nice sunny morning here and the washing is out on the line. Getting my nails done this morning then meeting friends for lunch. Rox my hairdresser always says that you can always let your hair grow back again.
It must be a beautifying day … I fancy trying some wax strips on my hairy chin.
I regularly bit and bat about whether to have my hair cut. I keep ducking out but it’s not waist length anymore as it seems to have stopped growing. It can be a pain to look after but I stick it in plaits which looks a bit daft at my age
Dullish and cloudy here with brief sunny spells … I find it hard to believe that the forecasters are promising 30 degrees by weekend. I hope they’re wrong I don’t like it that hot.
I usually wear my hair in a single plait over my left shoulder, grown up plait lol. It keeps my hair tidy and out of the way, My hair is quite fly away so it needs reined in. I sometimes put the plait over my head and pin it down, a bit different but still tidy.
You’re not really going to have your beautiful hair cut are you?
Your head will feel far too light and weightless.
Yes Morty, but just to or below my shoulders, since this heart problem started I don’t have the same energy and I find it too much hassle, it needs a great deal of care being the length it is and some days I just…Can’t.
Don’t be sad … It’ll grow back once you’re on the mend …
Ive always liked your hair .And below your shoulders isn’t so bad.
It’s gone now, just able to fasten it up in a clip for the pool.
It’s a few inches longer than this.
I thought you meant shorter … that’s nice, still looks good and you can handle it. Especially after you’ve been to the pool.
I can’t manage my own to well now after getting struck down with arthritis. It’s a bummer innit.
ps. What lovely furry beasties.
That was 15 years ago, before I had Dageus.
Left to right is, Pashka, Harry, and Maggiemay.
Wonderful and so cheeky and happy looking.
What breed are they? they’re not Dulux dogs are they?
