Forgive my frivolity with d00d - I just have a silly sense of humour…)
Yes, we are having a fine time with the holiday season with children and children and my sister. How about yourself ?

Family drove up on Christmas Eve, enjoyed the day doing all sorts. Quiet time today then they leave tomorrow.

As I have got older I always get a bit depressed between Christmas and New year. I tend to think of all those I have lost. My mood brightens up somewhat after the New Year

I don’t like Christmas much and I loathe New Year, all thanks to my ex. Like yourself I am also glad when the world goes back to normal.
My date to look forward to is December 21st, shortest day and 14 minutes of extra light weekly.

Good morning. Got home late last night after a great time away with my nieces and nephews. Did quite a bit of travelling to a few different places. My little nephew is really coming along and was starting to call us by our names. Back home and probably rake a few days to get over the jet lag.

Morning Jess good to have you back. You’ve missed most of the horrible weather but it’s getting cold again after a week of warmer temps. Had to defrost the car this morning, not amused about that.
Glad you had a good time and yes it is a long long journey, my sister’s always whacked out when she does it.
Nothing on today just take it as it comes, the cold doesn’t make me feel like going out, not now that I don’t have Dageus to walk.

Hi Rox it is a long journey but worth it when you get there. The last night before we left we had thunder and lightening wind and heavy rain. A wee taster before we left for home. Not to bad here today, I’m putting all the decorations away today and then go for some essentials.

Morning, Hope your all rested and recovered now. I’ve not much on today just tidying up here and I need to do a gut of my clothes and be strict with it, sort what I need and what I don’t, then take those bags to the local Charity Shop. I don’t know how I always end up with too many clothes lol.
Dry and dull here but at least it’s dry.

Afternoon, getting over it slowly. Had my hair and nails done today and feel a bit more human after doing my own hair for three weeks, I’m doing the same thing at the moment clearing out clothes that I’m not wearing any more. Turned quite cold here today but it was dry.

Morning, Dreading this storm just heard on the radio we now have a Red Wind Warning, that’s really bad. Dunc is out lashing things down and getting animals inside along with their feeds.
I hate strong winds at the best of times but this looks to be a real doozie, ocean is very calm too, and that’s never good as you’ll know from living beside it.
Been to the shops so got plenty bread n milk in for the duration.
Hope you don’t get hit too hard.

Evening. I’m dreading the storm as well, never heard of a red wind warning before. My niece phined this morning to see if I needed anything from the shops, I only needed bread. Stocked up the freezer with some stuff yesterday. All Transport here has been cancelled and schools and nurseries closed. Hope you and Dunc aren’t hit to hard.
