Over 50's Club Scotland

Evening Jess, Glad you had a good time too. We had lots of showers but still enjoyed it.
Been a nice day here so was outside this afternoon and caught up with the weeding.
Back to normality tomorrow.

Morning Rox. . Did some gardening myself yesterday when I got home. Also my niece and her son cut the hedge for me on Saturday, they did a really good job on it. Some food shopping later this afternoon.

Morning Jess, Dull and coldish here this morning, according to the weather man itā€™s 10 degrees lower here than down south.
Thinking itā€™s about time I got our Fleeces washed and ready, Iā€™m washing all my 3/4 leggings and putting them away till next summer (hahaha) if, you can call it that now.
Slept in so didnā€™t get to the pool, I think itā€™s going to be one of those days.

Morning Rox. Weather not much warmer here this morning. Iā€™ve put my leggings away and started wearing my jeans again. Housework and then the hairdressers later. Going to visit my friend after that for a chat and a cuppa.

Morning, cold here but at least itā€™s dryā€¦ So far. Got to the pool today and about to get himself to come to the garden centre with me, I need a few bags of bark chips and they are too heavy for me to lift these days. Then hopefully we can have a pub lunch in Wick.

Morning. Heavy showers here yesterday so it was a quick shop and then the bus home. I havenā€™t bought any plants this year Iā€™ve lost interest. My niece and her son cut my hedge on Sunday and her dad cut the grass yesterday. Hope you enjoyed your lunch yesterday.

Evening, Yes it was nice to have a pub lunch with himself instead of my girlfriends. Filthy day here wet and very windy, the waves are really big just now. After the pool I spent the day faffing about at home.

Morning. Weather was the same here again yesterday. windy and wet. Its a lot better this morning. Ordered new table lamps yesterday from Next and theyā€™re being delivered today. Got washing to hang out and catch up on housework.

Morning, I wouldnā€™t dare hang any washing out here today, goodness knows where it would end up the winds terrific. After the pool I went to the front to drink my latte and watch the waves, couldnā€™t park in my usual place as the waves were crashing over it, so was up on the higher road.
Just at home for the rest of the day, am not going out in that again.

Afternoon. I managed to get two lots of washing out and dried. Those waves remind me of Largs when there was a bad storm. Rearranged some drawers today and get another few things done around here. Called store about the lamps I ordered and they are with the courier.

Morning, Sun n showers here but at least that damn wind has dropped a good bit. Starting to empty a few of the tubs today, the wind and rain has wrecked a lot of the plants, shouldnā€™t have bothered, wouldnā€™t have if Iā€™d known there was no summer ahead.
Weā€™re both heading to the pool later as Himself fancies a spell in the steam room and the sauna, while I have my swim and hot tub soak.

Evening. Weather here has been terrible, heavy showers and wind. Its raining just now and it couldnā€™t rain any harder. Not been out the door so tidied up some drawers. . Hope you both enjoyed hot tub and steam room.

Morning, Missed the pool this morning I slept in, might get there early afternoon, schools are back and the English Tourists are heading home so it shouldnā€™t be busy.
Just Tesco to do and a tidy up around here.

Morning. Thank goodness the schools are back again. Got a few things to do round here then some food shopping later.

Morning, Another horrible day, this is awful for summer.
Been to the pool and need to drive to the big Tesco outside Wick. Apart from that thereā€™s nothing planned.

Morning. Yesterday wasnā€™t to bad here yesterday, quite warm but cloudy. Going into Glasgow later I want to see what the jumpers are like, and maybe a few other things.

Morning, Dry here today but quite windy. I miss going round the shops, I used to do that at least once a week when I lived in Perth full time, but thereā€™s nothing here. I would have to drive down to Inverness if I wanted a day shopping, but itā€™s over a 2 hour drive both there and back, so I rake the shops when I go back to Perth for a visit. Stable duties for me later today.

We lived up in the hills on the farm so we had no shops close by. Kirriemuir was 6 miles away and that about quite small. Then I went to Edinburgh for University. Huge compared Kirrie.

I have since been around quite a bit but lived in Scotland.
Edit:

Have NOT lived in Scotland since my school days. I have had frequent visits in hotels in on business but not stayed there

Morning, Sun at last and with the promise of more to come. :sun_with_face::sunglasses: Garden this afternoon and out for dinner tonight at Scrabsterā€™s Ferry Inn.
Got some rotten news yesterday, my best friend in Perth since our teens is in the early stages of lung cancer  Iā€™m not surprised as sheā€™s a heavy smoker and always refuses to stop, but I feel really sad for her.
Enjoy your W/E.

Good morning. Bo never been to Kirriemuir. Rox sorry to hear about your friend, my mum died from lung cancer. Met up with friends yesterday for lunch and a few glasses of wineā€¦ Sun is out here so Iā€™ll get out and do some weeding.
