Afternoon, got the 11am ferry back to Scrabster, very calm sailings both there and back, Iām fair jiggered as we did so much in a short time. Next year we will all go, the whole family, but we will book a cottage for a week and have time to explore and relax on the beaches in the evenings. David is heading back to Perth tomorrow and I think I will see him onto the train and head for the Pool then just relax in the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi for an hour or so, hopefully all my aches will vanish.
Morning. Never been to Orkney, the first time and I met May and some othners they were going to Orkney, I would have liked to have gone with them but there was no spare rooms. I remember going on family holidays at Glasgow Fair and doing different things with my parents and the others. Going into Glasgow later for a few things.
Morning, Just finishing my morning drink then off to the pool. Itās pouring with rain here, been on all night, still the grounds need it. Apart from driving over to Wick for the big shop Iāve nothing planned for today. You should come up to Orkney if you can, itās a lovely place to visit, but better off season as itās quiet then, too many cruise ships just now.

Good morning. More rain again here this morning. I donāt think any of my family or friends would be interested in visiting Orkney. Not a lot planned for this morning apart from housework. Just checked the weather an its to clear around lunchtime, so might get out to the shops after that.

Meeting up with the girls for lunch today in Thurso instead of Wick for a change, apart from that itās just a tidy up around here.

Morning, Not bad out there except for the blasted Caithness Wind thatās always blowing. Popping over to Tesco shortly then itās Stable duties for the rest of the morning. A wee trek in the woods with the Clydes and weāre out tonight for dinner.

Morning. Sun is out but there is still that wind blowing here, wish it would go away. Nephew coming round later to show me his first car, not sure what time so Iāll find something to pass the time.
Evening, Itās been a lovely day, like summer should be. We were at the Highland Games most of the day followed by a BBQ at a friendās place. Iām shattered so having a nice warm shower and an early night.
Morning. It was a lovely day here yesterday and I did a bit in the garden. Weather back to normal here its raining. Meeting a friend later for coffee and a chat.
Morning Jes, Blimey what a difference from yesterday, I had to go out early as I was due to get a jab and I got soaked in the process as the place wasnāt even open and I had to stand out in the heavy rain.
Home for the day now itās foul out there, catch up round the house then feet up.
Morning Rox. It wasnāt tp bad here yesterday the sun came out in the afternoon. Its warm out there this morning but still a few light showers around. Got a few things that has to be done around here then see what I feel like getting up to.
Morning, it cleared up during the afternoon yesterday thank goodness AND, we had The Aurora last night too, that was a surprise. No pool today my arm is quite sore after yesterdays jab and I donāt think swimming would do it any good. Just finding things to do around here this morning, if it stays dry we might get for a walk if himself is not too busy.
Morning, Another nice day, been working in the greenhouse the past couple of hours, after lunch will do a bit of weeding. Iām driving over to Dornie on the West Coast this evening to meet my daughter who is staying there for the week. Iāve never been over to Skye so Iām taking the chance while sheās there, I want to explore the Jurassic Coast with all the dinosaur foot prints and bones ect, and see the Dino Museum at Staffin, so Iāll be away for a few days.
Good evening. Thatās one thing I miss about Largs all the beautiful sunsets and the occasional glimpse of the Aurora. My arm is always the same a bit sore after the jag. Went for some lunch today to one of the local restaurants I had Pizza which was home made. She has an Italian chef so the next visit Iāll try the pasta. Enjoy your visit to Skye and seeing your daughter.
Afternoon. Weather was horrible here this morning heavy rain, now the sun is coming out. Havenāt been out anywhere yet, hairdressers later then dinner out with my niece. Off to Rothsey tomorrow for the weekend with friends. Hope the weather is better over there.
Have a great time, I got back a few hours ago. Weather not too good on the West Coast, lots of heavy showers but still had a good couple of days. Something else now ticked off the bucket list.
