Over 50's Club Scotland

Good morning a lot cooler here today. Paid a bill at the bank earlier, also the guy was here from the double glazing company. Picked the doors and windows last week today it was the handles and paying a deposit. Hope everything goes ok at the Doctors, Rox and enjoy the ride on the beach this evening.

Sunny day again but that Caithness wind is back so itā€™s keeping things cooler. Been to the pool and Tesco, walked Dageus and now home for the rest of the day. Nothing planned see what needs doing and will maybe do itā€¦maybe not.

Heavy showers here this morning. Tree surgeons coming this morning so thatā€™s another job ticked off the list, so its housework this morning for me and try and tidy out some drawers, then some lunch.

Good morning, sun trying to come out here. Going to visit a friend later in Hospital, hoefully she will be getting home this weekend.

Afternoon, Had to take my car to the garage to get a tyre fixed so had a wander round the town centre, all one street of it, ended up in the museum for a while, forgotten how much interesting stuff was in there. Walked Dageus and been home since, waiting on a package to be delivered.

Hi Rox, turned out really warm here. Visited my friend then caught the bus home. Got the lounger and sat outside for half an hour thatā€™s enough for me.

Evening Jess, I am so hacked off at that Royal Mail, I got an email this morning to say the parcel would be delivered today and I checked the tracking, all seemed fine. Still no parcel and I checked the tracking again a wee while ago, they had changed the delivery day to tomorrow and not bothered to tell me. What a shower of pests and a waste of an afternoon waiting in. :rage::rage::rage:

Morning Rox, thatā€™s terrible that they never let you know they changed the date for the parcel. Thatā€™s why I hate waiting for workmen or parcels.Raining here this morning and I was stupid enough to leave washing out last night. Got the hairdressers later this afternoon and then some food shopping.

Morning, Wet here this morning, been to the pool and had the dog out, now Iā€™m home playing the waiting game once more. Our old postman retired and he was great, he just left stuff in the greenhouse if nobody was around and put a card through the door. The parcel firms do that as well but this young herbert on the Royal Mail van now wonā€™t do itā€¦I could box his ears for him. :rage:
If heā€™s doing this to everyone then heā€™s in for ear bashings from annoyed customers.
Have a nice day.

Hi Rox, my niece came round this morning to cut the hedge but it was to wet. Her son also came round and did some painting in the garage, still another coat tp go. Went to the hairdressers then Braehead and home again.

Morning, Think itā€™s been raining most of the night, but itā€™s off now so heading away with The Hairy One for his walk. Starting back with my stable duties after lunch, but taking it slow or Iā€™ll knacker myself. I tire so easily these days, most annoying to an ā€œUp n At Emā€ sort of person like I was, untill my fall.
Not sure if weā€™re eating in or out tonight, will see how we both feel at lunch time. :slightly_smiling_face:
Have a nice day.

Morning. We had rain here last night, hope it stays dry as I want to hang out washing. Have someone coming today to give me a quite for a fence, just waiting to see what time heā€™s coming. Going out for dinner later tonight with my niece and her son.

Good morning. A lot cooler here this morning., with a wind blowing out there. Some housework and then I want to go into town later Iā€™d like a new foundation and a lipstick.

Afternoon, I actually slept last night it was a lot cooler, these hot nights are not nice. Only had the pool and the hairy one 's walk today. Been faffing around at home ever since.

Morning really dark here just now, I think itā€™s going to pour soon. Pool, Doctorā€™s nurse appointment, Tesco, then dogs walk, that takes care of the morning. Will see what the weatherā€™s up to later, need to pull those danm weeds again, nothing seems to get rid of them.

Morning raining here at the moment. Iā€™ve got a bag ready for the Charity shop, then the hairdressers and then go for some lunch. Have a Chiropodist coming this evening it saves me having to go out to when I donā€™t have to/

My Chiropodist comes to the house as well, so much easier than faffing about trying to get parked then in a waiting room, Dave comes here, gets parked at the side of the house and does my feet then has a cuppa and a natter, itā€™s much more relaxed than actually going to one. I wish the Chiropractor could come here but he canā€™t, besides heā€™d have to lug that special table around with him, heavy contraption.
Rain started around 10am and still coming down.

Yes, my wife has to go to her osteopath which is a bit of a drag. But we have the hairdresser here for me, my wife and a heighbour. Then we have dog groomer for us and for our neighbours. Plus we get all groceries and much else delivered. Initially it was circumstances for me then the Covid and it was easier to use deliveries. And ever sinceā€¦More people seem to be doing that.

Have to agree that its easier for the Chiropodist to come here, in and out in ten minutes. Bo never been to an osteopath, I usually go for a massage. Hasnā€™t stopped raining here for most of the day.

Good morning. A lot cooler here this morning, going to put salt on the old dandelions again and hope they disappear. Going into town later then visiting another friend in Hospital later.
