For what’s worth we have been using vinegar to clear the weeds. This is special 30% vinegar and that clears everyrging. And it is easy to use.

Morning. Cold wind here this morning and the heating is on. Meeting friends later for coffee and then a bit of shopping. Rox that looks lethal but it does the job. I have a gardener who comes once a month as I cant be bothered to go out and do the weeding myself.
Afternoon, not too bad a day, dry at least.
Not long back from the beach, The coming of Summer Viking Festival was on while we were there. Acted out by locals and the towns Heritage Centre.
I really must get back into the habit of carrying my camera again, I stopped after I lost Dageus. These are only phone pics.

Evening. Nice when the sun was out but still that cold wind. Rox they used to have the Viking Festival in Largs. They had the village and then the battle at the end of the Festival andset the long boat on fire and set off fireworks.
I think it’s become popular with a lot of town’s now. Thurso’s big fire festival in the winter is called “Da Doonie Day” It’s a smaller version of Shetland’s “Up Helly Aa” have you ever been to it?
Morning. Cloudy here this morning but not as cold. Hairdressers then goin when I lived in Largs.g to visit my friend she fell in the garden and broke her wrist. Rox never been to any of the Islands except local ones
Wow … Viking Festival is a new one on me … it looks great fun.

Morning. Looks like it will be another cold one here. Going for a facial this morning and looking forward to it.
Afternoon, It’s really quite cold here today, Been dodging showers as well. Nothing on except the pool this morning, just been faffing about here catching up with things since I got home.
Put the heating back on, too cold for comfort without it.
Yes, cold here too at 10C and we expect it to start dropping later. Our wee dog is just fine for that weather but she should be getting shorter coat short on. Unfortunately the groomer, a lovely lady, has been quite ill so we are not sure that she will continue…(
Evening we did have a bit of sunshine here today. Had new internal doors fitted a few weeks ago, had my niece and her son round painting them while I was out.
It’s a lovely evening here after an awful dull day … May hasn’t started off too well at all.
