Rox hope your feeling better now. Clouday here today and I changed my mind about going to Largs. We also had a few light showers, bought a few summer tops in M&S for the holidays.
Morning, Think Iām just trying to do too much Jess, as Dunc saysā¦Slow down a bit. But itās hard when you want to get back to normal, well whatās normal for me anyway . Not too bad here at the moment, sunny intervals and the usual Caithness Wind, but not too windy.
Out for lunch with the girls today, heading over to Wick for that, then a mooch round the Garden Centre afterwards.
Evening. Sometimes we just have to step back and take it easy. Quite cold here earlier and now the sun has come outā¦ Had my hair and nails this afternoon and then a trip to Next for a few things. Hope you enjoyed your lunch this afternoon.

I suppose I do enough exercise for my age. Maybe I should stop trying to get back to 50 lengths. Last time I did it it was 2019 and the day before lock down, thatās a few years now.
Turned lovely this evening, Wall to Wall Blue Sky. 
Had a Ploughmanās Lunch in Wick with the girls, enjoyed it, then went to Tesco on the way home.
Morning. Rox we all think we can do things we did years ago, but your body says no. Nice sunny morning here and the gardener is tidying up the garden. Not sure what to get up to today.
Morning Jess, Lovely here as well, going to try and prepare the ground for my lavender plants, picking them up on Sunday. Not got plans for this afternoon but if it stays sunny all day then weāll be taking the Clydes to the beach after dinner.

Evening. Another sunny day here again went for a massage in town and then picked up a few bits and pieces. Caught the bus to Largs and got a pair of shoes from a shop I like. Hope you got the beds done and enjoyed the ride out to the beach.
Evening, Glad you got to Largs at last, it was a nice day here too. Had a busy morning, at the pool then latte at The Front, had an ouchy appointment with my Chiropractor who said I was all knotted up then to the garage to get air in my tyres as they were a bit flat, and finally into Tesco for some messages. Caught up around the House then after lunch I hauled out my lounger and had a snooze in the sun. Not a bad day lol.
Yes had a good wander along the beach, was in the water most of the time, the Clydes enjoyed it too. 
I shall never forget my time spent on Reiss Beach. Whenever Iām anywhere near the sea I just have to for a swim. My God!! Then it started raining but the wind prevented the rain from hitting the ground, it was getting blown back up again. Lovely beach though.
Funny but Iāve never been on Reiss Beach, Itās a wee bit away for me. I have Thurso Beach, Dunnet Beach, Sandside and Strathy Bay. All are a short drive except for Strathy itās further along the North Coast. Iāve never swam in the sea here except over at The North Baths outdoor pool in Wick a couple of years ago. Never Again 
It was bloody FFFreezing and I was shaking with the cold. I much prefer to do my swimming in the Leisure Centre. 
Morning. Had some rain here earlier, it looks like summer has gone. Rox I enjoyed my massage I always feel better after it. Had guys here this morning changing internal doors now theyāre all the same.Rox glad you enjoyed the ride out with Clydes. Its funny but most of my family enjoy swimming in the sea from the oldest to the youngest. I just dip my toes in the water.
Enjoy today ā¦ itās downhill weatherwise this weekend and next week, unsettled, cooler and rainy. This year seems to be so stop, stop without really settling down.
We must have had it too good last year.
It wasnāt to bad here today no rain and a bit warmer. Hope its ok tomorrow as Iām meeting friends in town for lunch and a few glasses of wine.
Evening, A lot duller with drizzle for us today. Wasnāt too bothered as the washing is all done and if the ground is softer it will be easier to bed in the lavender that I managed to get a hold of today, 4 nice big pots of very healthy looking plants, fair chuffed with them.
As Morty says itās downhill for the weather this W/E so not too sure when that will be. Got some Solar Lights as well as lavender today, stuck them in the long trough planters, hope they have a good light once theyāre fully charged.
Iāve never had a massage Jess, often fancied one but never got around to it.

Morning, Rain and wind here today, nothing planned except dinner out tonight. Just take the day as it comes, enjoy your time with your friends Jess.
My new Solar Lights are great they do the job well. This was later last night.
Morning. I bought a Lavender bush one time in Morrisonās almost dead, I planted it and it thrived.Got some solar lights int the garage Iāll have to get them out and put them in the front garden.Weather doesnāt look to bad here, was supposed to meet friends for lunch but one isnāt feeling to good. Enjoy your dinner out tonight
Solar lights can be real cheerful and give planters a lovely air of mystery at night.
It makes you wonder what beasties might sneak about your plants in the dark ā¦ I havenāt seen a hedgehog for over a year, one fox last year and ever decreasing numbers of grey squirrels.
Morning a lot cooler here today and cold. Iāve only seen two foxes here since I moved in. Had new internal doors fitted Iām now putting everything back in its place. . Will have to go shopping later for something for dinner.
Afternoon, Dull and Cloudy again here but so far dry, had a fine morning playing with my new toy, I got an electric weed burner as Iām fed up with getting a sore back all the time while I yank out the weeds. Revenge Time for keeping growing ha ha. I had to call Dunc in as I couldnāt get the metal rod that connects the 2 bits together to slot in. He did it in moments, gave me a look and called me a dopey mare then strode off againā¦Cheeky Bugger, Coffee time and feet up now.
