Over 50's Club Scotland

Yep ! As it happens, the last time I visited our bank was over twenty years ago. If we need cash we use our local store.

I consider myself lucky … all my local banks had closed over the years so they got together and last year created a banking hub in the village. Each bank has a certain day for you to go and do your business. I always wonder how they sort out the security though as it’s just in the local civic centre.

Chucking it down here again … most depressing.

May we don’t have one bank here in Renfrew, the nearest one is in Paisley. Finally caught up with my nephews who are on holiday from Australia. I was talking ot my friend last night and we were both saying we hadn’t received any cards through the post.

Glad your catching up with everyone Jess.
As for my illness OMG, The Cardio Dr who just yesterday discovered the reason I was feeling so ill. Landed back in hospital yesterday in an almost collapsed state, turns out the medication I was on for my heart was slowly poisoning me. After blood tests and an ECG and a shed load of questions he discovered the digoxen was slowly poisoning me. I threw the remaining stuff out, takes 8 to 10 days to leave the system
That man literally saved my life.

Jesus, Rox.
I trust a complaint of some kind is being lodged for training purposes, even if you’re not considering compensation?

A friend of my daughter ended up unconscious and in hospital last week due to a gynaecologist prescribing way too huge a dosage of a couple of things. The hospital doctor made a similar conclusion as yours has, and in my daughter’s friends case even said she (who is a single mother with a 3 year old child) was lucky to be alive!!

Morning. Rox what a shock to find that the medication to help you was slowing killing you. Thank goodness your doctor found out what was wrong with you.Dex glad to your daughters friend is on the road to recovery. Hairdressers later then round to my niece’s as I think a few of the others are coming through to see their cousins.

Morning, Feeling much better now that I 've stopped that awful pill, clearing up nicely now.
Heading over to Wick with himself later this morning, Stocking up at the huge Tesco, that means lots of extra cake, biscuits, ice-cream and no doubt a tin of quality street, always is when Dunc gets loose in a supermarket. I don’t like him shopping with me…sigh. His excuse is just incase I need support or feel dizzy.

Morning. Rox it sounds as if your well on the road to recovery… I prefer shopping by myself for food and clothes. Bought a new duvet cover last week so will have to get a fitted sheet and pillow cases. Then round to visit my niece with a few presents for my nephew to take back to Australia for his little boy.

Feeling so much better this morning, one (I hope) more blood test to pass today and if the results are ok I should be able to get on with my life again. Heading down to the stable later to see the Clydes and see how I feel about getting back in the saddle. Just a slow walk round the field, want to be on that Christmas Beach Ride on Thursday, so this is a wee trial.
Keep your fingers crossed for me. :crossed_fingers:
