Very warm again and it has rained … possible thunder later … but my friend still wants to have a walk along the canal so we’ll just have o takes what comes 
Hi Myrtle we had a shower earlier. I had a fold away raincoat and my brolly with me. Went to the food fair and it was £4 to get in, but you got a free canvas bag, so you got something for your money.
I managed to miss the thunder and torrential downpour that they had in Macclesfield as I was about 12 miles away … how lucky was that

Hi Myrtle I did try a few free samples. I also bought some homemade jam. Today a bit more gardening and maybe a walk along the front.

Going out with a friend for afternoon tea today to a hotel in town . Never been for afternoon tea before so looking forward to it .

It’s a few years since I went out for afternoon tea with a group of Girls to a posh Hotel in Edinburgh,a very expensive treat I must say as We could have had a three course meal with wine for the price We paid for a few sandwiches and cake:!:!..Guess I’m just a pleb’ :-p
