Hi everyone , it’s a grey miserable day here today . Been a couple of walks did a bit of gardening . Will be having an early dinner due to lack of lunch .
Hi Abbey the weather was the same in Glasgow today.Got something from M&S for dinner and didn’t really enjoy it.
Hello
I can’t complain about the weather … it’s been mild and dry today. I’ve been dancing in Blackpool Tower this afternoon and it’s the first time I’ve been to Blackpool in December and it’s not been blowing a gale
Good Morning Each,it’s a bright mild one here and I’ve been out for a short walk to Co-op for rolls for breakfast…Have been having prob’s with My left arm since nurse hit a nerve last week, keep getting shock sensations and fingers cramp up.
Looks like You’re having a fab time in Blackpool Myrtle, glad the weather was kind this time…see Ya All Later,x
Good morning
Poor May … one thing after another !!!
I only went to Blackpool for the dancing … home by 6.30 pm
Have a good day everyone.
Afternoon All,just had results of blood tests…everything normal, and I don’t have diabetes…woohoo!..no more visits to the vampire Nurse :-p
Good to hear May, now you can enjoy your Christmas and and Hogmanay, me being Diabetic i will jst have a couple of peas and sniff a wine gum… :(:(
Aww…sorry Kid.(((((((((hugs)))))))))))…can’t You get wine & sweets for diabetics?..Aye I’ll enjoy Christmas but I don’t celebrate Hogmanay now as there’s not much Family left here…They’re all in Your wonderful Country
Dont you go first footing May, bottle of plonk and a lump of coal, knocking on doors after midnight hoping someone will let you in. We still do it in Northumberland.

Naw,not any more, though I’m sure lots of Folks still do…I miss it all I must say…them were the days when You never knew whos house You would wake up in on Ne’erday
Shame to hear its dying up in Scotland, these old traditions were a part of the community’s that used to thrive everywhere.
I don’t think the tradition is dying Nom,My Son & Daughter still do it in Their Neighbourhood…it’s just Us auld yins who are feart to go oot in the dark  :-p
Evening All.
That's good news on the blood test front May! You'll be pleased at that I'm sure. I've had a pain in the wallet day today. Went over a sunken manhole cover in the main street. Big bang. Front spring shattered. Car immovable. Rescued by the AA (A1+++++ for speed and service) Car to garage. Car repaired and will collect in the morning. Claim against the council ??? East Ayrshire Council have untold volumes of "Book of Excuses" and "How to avoid paying out" I'm sure. Will start the process tomorrow. Gimme strength ! Grrrrr.

Many commiserations for Your wallet Mike, but it’s about time those poor moths were set free …there’s a lot to be said for being a Pedestrian.

CHRISTMAS FAIRY
I am a little fairy
On tap o’ the Christmas Tree
It’s no’ a job I fancy
Well how would you like tae be me
A tarted up wi’ tinsel
It’s enough to mak ye boak
An a couple o’ jaggy branches
Rammed up the back o’ your frock
An’ these wee lights a’roon me
I canna get my sleep
An’ there’s the yearly visit
Fae Santa - Big fat creep!
On Christmas Day I’m stuck up here
While you’re a’ wirin’ in
An’ naebody says "Hey you up there
Could you go a slug o’ gin?
It’s nae joke bein’ a fairy
The job’s beyond belief
You’ve got to go roon’ the wean’s beds
An’ lift their rotten teeth
But o’ a’ the joabs a fairy gets
An’ I’ve mentioned only some
The very worst is sitting up a tree
Wi’ pine needles up yir bum
When a’ the fairies meet again
By the light of’ the silvery moon
Ye can tell the Christmas fairies
They’re the wans that canna sit doon
The Christmas tree’s a bonny sight
As the firelight softly flickers
But think o’ me I’m stuck up here
Wi’ needles in my knickers
So soon as Christmas time’s right by
An’ I stop bein’ sae full o’ cheer
I’ll get awa back tae Fairyland
An’ I’ll see yous a’ next year.
Found this funny wee poem which gave Me a good laugh
Thanks May. I like it !
